I don’t know why, but seeing the Great Plains Bison return to our National Parks in both Canada and the USA brings a comfort to my heart. It’s like at long last we are correcting a wrong that the European settlers imposed on the North American continent. It must be how the indigenous people feel when they see the beauty of these mighty animals return to their natural habitat. Before the Settlers came, Bison roamed freely from Alaska to Northern Mexico.
