When I was going to school, I never told anyone at my job until my test was taken and certification in hand. The things I have seen jealous people do when they feel inadequate. I worked per diem through school, which worked for me.
I did the same thing although I changed jobs I went from one job to another. Funny thing someone from my old job saw me at the classroom orientation new job at the hospital and she went to tell them oh she said she is a new grad rn new and I heard they could not believe it . (Domeone called me from there 2 ladies stayed in touch with . The new nursing home job I was at(8 months I took the nclex a d passed it there)when I passed nclex too was shocked as he'll when I pulled up my license from board of nursing and showed it to the hr and Don and the scheduler.
Oh I hated clinical. I went to a university with a teaching hospital across the street and 90% of the nurses went to the same school and treated us like shit which i dont understand. Glad to be done with nursing school. I vow to welcome all students and understand you need a mentor and guidance❤
I have learned in the past with travel contracts, they look at us as the "help". We are supposed to come in and have no life outside of their facility.
I'm trying to find the motivation to go back to school for LPN. I'm a Sterile Processing Technician. I'm married with a set of 8 year old twin boys and a 6 year old daughter.
They literally don’t care I work a smaller role in a hospital and asked my manager to reduce my hours to part time I’m not even asking for PRN or Contingent and she said that is not possible and I would think she would understand because she a nurse herself but they don’t care so now I’m looking for another job 😂
