In accordance with this word and psalm 52, 2 corinthians 6:14-18 I loosen myself, my family, friends, colleagues, neighbours, acquintances, opponents and the body of Christ to love what is good and right more than what is evil and false, while loosening myself of every unequal yoke and common share with those who love evil and falsehood more than what is good and right, in the name and blood of Jesus Christ, amen and hallelujah!

@David Guzik, referring to -> ii. In writing trusted in the abundance of his riches, David may point to something only implied in the 1 Samuel 21-22 account: that Doeg did this for the sake of riches, either immediate or eventual. For the sake of money he murdered more than 85 people. 1 Samuel 22 indicates that Doeg did this to gain the favor of Saul, and the favor of a king could be a path to significant riches. I personally believe that it is appalling the lengths that people will go, for the sake of being rich. It is a disgusting evil.
John 1:1-3 indicates that Jesus was the one responsible for creation. John 1:1-3 1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. Colossians 1:15 & 16 tell us the same thing. 15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. 16 For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or [e]principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. Hope this helps.
I have two questions please… I was wondering why Saul was not included in this wicked act of Doeg since he is the one who ordered it. What might be the significance of writing about “in the presence of your faithful people”? There’s something so encouraging about ending the chapter that way and that I feel it is reminding me to be encouraged and to be a part of a community of faithful people who trust in the good name of God. Could that be a point I migjt make or is that outside of the text? Thank you!

Doeg was definitely a self serving and ungodly man. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
