Psalm 42 is music to my ears But in my heart I cry tears I know that I am lost and every day I walk in a different direction I need to stop all noise and sit in reflection Failure is nothing to fear Because God will catch me if he hear
My favorite Psalm, which I memorized inside a prison cell. Pastor David, I love your annointed teaching, and go to your Enduring Word Studies to prepare for commentaries on I Peter that I am presently sharing with 6,000 followers on Twitter. God bless your most unique, helpful ministry.
Im going to start this by saying I’m not religious. But lately I’ve been struggling with this burnout induced depression because of my favorite hobby marching band. We used to play Psalm 42 as a warmup, and I just randomly decided now to look into what it meant. I can relate to every line. It makes me feel a little less alone. Thank you for the lecture, it’s changed the way I view religion
I am lifting a prayer for you right now... you never have to be alone. God is leading you...I believe He uses many, often random, circumstances to lead us to Him. I just realized you wrote this a year ago. I hope you are in a good place right now!
Thank you! Blessed by your words especially considering the year that we all got to live in the midst of COVID where everything we leaned on to give us our spiritual high seems distant.
Pray for me. I feel im being oppressed or possessed. As a Christian I went into occult I tod God to leave me alone. I since I have repented. But I'm being attacked. Afraid I lost my salvation
I am lifting a prayer for you. Take this psalm to heart, and preach to your soul. Tell your soul that God will never abandon his children! You have repented. If you are still being oppressed, keep praying to God! Blessings.
