  • In this guided meditation, Jack invites us to meet whatever emotions, thoughts, and sensations arise with a rooted stillness, steadiness, and
    stability.
“Let yourself feel the steadiness of the earth, almost as if you have roots going down like you are a great tree-steady, rooted, and still, even when the wind blows through the branches.” - Jack Kornfield
This meditation was originally live-streamed by Spirit Rock for the Monday Night Dharma Talk on March 13, 2023

Your book translated to french, Les perils et promesses de la vie spirituelle, changed my life years ago. Thank you Mr. Kornfield.

Quarter to midnight NYE Eve here in Sattahip south of Pattaya City on the Gulf of Thailand 🇹🇭 w the 👻 of On Kawara in the year of our Lord Indra 2566. Hi, Jack. We just ordered 2 🍕, pork gyozo, fried fish rings, & a bottle of high fructose corn syrup. Enjoyed your last podcast. We're up to # 96 w the Ram Dass ones. Ya know I never heard Ram Dass speak until I got thrown in the pokey in white supremacist Colorado. *waves* Hope you and Trudy and all are well. I bet Spain 🇪🇸 was fun. I loved it. And the heat. Still didn't prepare me for Thailand heat, or the 8 years of Bikram in a 110° room. Do you know if Tenzin Palmo's cave is available? I've been looking for a place I can go for a few years now, but if we manage to scrape up the funds for a re-entry permit when we renew our retirement visa w Ms. Fon at Maneraat, we may just head to Burma and see what's what with that Sayadaw fella. I mean, I've owned 3 copies of Mahasi Sayadaw's Manual of Insight. But we'll see how it works ou. We managed after 3 years of needing to to file our appeal w the niggardly whites who run SSDI to get them to pay us after they denied us 3 years ago when we were homeless and cold in white supremacist Colorado. Brrrr. Vediamo, as gli Italiani dicono. Happy New Year! I drove out to Woodacre one day to walk the land when I was bouncing around the East Bay if Nancy Pelosi's playground of homelessness but the gates were up. I did manage to lay on the naked part of the beach beyond the giant black rocks on Muir Beach. Martinez is cool. And seriously, check the bottom of San Pablo Bay for an ancient city like the one at the bottom of Lake Titicaca. I got spun around by crazy wild energies when I was sitting at the Pinole #2 Parking Lot doing lots of shatter dabs and lifting dumbbells. Anywho... 🍕 soon. ✌️
