Thanks for the video, yo;u do explain the different types of re-generations but at such a high level it does not provide clarification on what to do and not to do.
I have a YM342a with about 125 hours on it. It has gone thru 4 regens,40,51,70,and 85hours. On all the regens the dash light and regen button were flashing. In all these regens I had to push the regen switch for 3 seconds to start the process with the tractor parked. First time I did the regen it just sat there and did nothing. I then referenced the owners manual and brought the rpms up to 2000. It sat there for 30 minutes no change in rpms with the regen indicator lit. The lite would not go out until I decided after 45 minutes and lowered the rpms to around idle, then the lite went out.
I also contacted the dealership on this for more clarification and they said they did not know much about the regen process, and said it may be doing more regens in the winter time, they said they had no experience with these.
So I went back to the manual and only got more confused after reading it a few times. There are too many instances in the manual saying this "may or may not work, try this, or this usually works. They also reference a 1 or 2 second blink with a .5 or 1.0 hz buzzer, give me a break while I get my timer out and frequency checker to see what I have.
Needless to say I need some help in understanding this more, possibly with doing a forced regen every so many hours, kinda of a fail safe approach. I don't want the filter to get plugged and end up in limp mode.
Any help would be greatly appreciated and I look forward to the next set of much needed detailed videos.
Note:I run the tractor at minimum 1400 rpm.
Thanks and hope to hear from you.

Good point, I have a yt235 and it did a regen today with 41 hours. Just the dash light and start the process holding the button. Continued to use the tractor and it went off after some time. But I agree with you on the forced regen as a fail safe.
