- Prime Time visits Yamunanagar in Haryana where massive excavations have been done to revive the Saraswati River which has its mention in several ancient Indian literatures. Dr A R Chaudhary, professor of the Geology Department, Kurukshetra University explains what led his team to identify that location, how they concluded that a river existed there and that the site is the bed of River Saraswati. The issue of the river Saraswati has been mired with controversy since a lg time now. Science has its role to play but it is intricately associated with culture and civilisation of the region as well. As a geologist what Prof. Chaudhari has come up with are very valid reasons for the existence of Saraswati in the region. The mentions in the scriptures hold true as well. I expect the work would continue in this direction and someday the entire civilisation would come across in true colors and not in the colors it has been painted by foreign 'pseudo' scholars

Hi I work outside India and was watching this video. Presenter of the media channel was intorogating not interviewing the scientist. I also observed that the media person has come for this with preconceived mind. I got interested to know more about the media person and from Google I got all infoemation about the person and I found he has strong affiliation with left ideology and anti Indian culture brigade. I talk to some of my friends and found his political affiliation. I feel if journalist with political affiliation their programme should not be seen as they will convert science to history or mythology, like the Indian historians have written history of India as as prescribed by British.

In Ravish's defence, he was doing what a journalist should do, that is to ask as much questions as possible from what feed he is getting, not to suck up on a narrative and praise everything. Also, I saw a comment where one said he wasn't letting Mr.Chaudhary speak but he was clearly letting him complete his sentences and was listening, unlike some other propaganda driven, biased *news anchors* who shouts, judges others and changes the topic if it challenges or isn't according to their agenda. If it wasn't for all his questions in the interview, you would've never heard about all the research and work that went on finding this stream/river.

As Saraswati was dried out in 4000 BC (6000 years ago). So very important thing is, in the oldest scriptures, the Rig Veda describes 45 times about Sarawasti river, and it is believed that when Aryans came to Indian subcontinent, then they first time settled at the bank of the river Saraswati. It means Aryan migrated and entered India (from North through central Asia) well before Ramayana and Mahabharata, and there was no existence of so-called ‘Hindu’, but Aryans. So our ancestors were Aryans only, and we are belonging to the Aryan culture. Similarly, the common root of others cults and major religious order is also Aryanism.
