  • Long Branch Campground is located below Center Hill Dam on the scenic Caney Fork River in central Tennessee's Highland Rim.
Above the dam, the lake stretches 64 miles up the river, where visitors come to enjoy boating, fishing and water sports. The 415 miles of forested shoreline provide excellent hiking, hunting and camping opportunities.
The campground offers 60 campsites with water and 50-amp electric hookups. A large, day-use group picnic shelter is also available, with water and electric hookup. Amenities like flush toilets, showers and drinking water are provided, creating a comfortable camping experience for guests. A boat ramp, fish cleaning station and playground are all conveniently located within the campground.

Nice park and large pads. We think it was just fine for a couple of days.

This is a couple hours from my house. I have driven through the campground to see what sites I would prefer, but I haven't stayed there. I got the feeling it was kind of lack luster. I guess if you are just looking for somewhere to hang out and fish it would be good. I remember thinking the sites were small (yard space wise), which you also commented about. The one that's down a little ways from there where I stayed was Floating Mill which is where Melinda from Simple Life Big Adventures is volunteering this summer. The sites there weren't the best either but it was right on the lake. The problem was getting out of there. They did not have any good egress routes. If you went out of that campground the way it says to, most rigs will drag horribly. I love COE but I like the ones that are a little more roomy

We agree with you. The site pads were very large. We saw sites with large 5thwheels, a dually and a boat and the site still had room for the guests to sit and visit. The only sites we thought had a small yard was site 58 and 59. (we were in 58) Site 60 had one of the largest yards and was FHU. We were there for two days for a quick stop over on our trip. We too also love COE parks and have found some worse and some far much better. Luck of the draw sometimes. Thanks for stopping by and hope to meet up with you one day.
