As an aside, the Circulator is often an even better deal as the card readers are often out of order, at least on the LP-EM route, and the driver will wave you on for free :).
The circulator bus was a lifesaver going from the Washington Monument to the Jefferson Memorial - saved a ton of walking
Nice!
It will be very helpful since we going dc this weekend. Yo are helpful every time we go to DC. Thank you
Have fun.
Rob this was the best thing that happened on our trip and it's all thanks to your channel! It was the weekend of that tropical storm and it was awful weather so it saved us a lot and they weren't charging anything to get on. Thanks Rob and also the best cheap eats was fantastic... Swizzler was delicious!!
Happy to hear you had a fun time!
Thanks a lot for the video, Rob.
Another reason why DC is one of the best destinations in the world
You're welcome!
The other day, I went to the Postal Museum, and it was fantastic. Definitely the most underrated museum. Thanks for the recommendation!
It's a good one!
1. what's a cheap hotel/motel near the national mall that's on circulator route?
2. cheapest way to get from airport to national mall motel ? Thanks!! 🙏
Once again Rob an excellent and informative video. Thank You!
You're welcome!
Visiting from Australia Aug 2024. This is GREAT thanks Rob.
Have fun.
Maybe a stupit question, but how do you know what the next stop will be and you have to get of the bus. Is there inside the circulator of another bus a sign ? Thank you
I took the circulator quite a bit when I was in DC. Especially the Woodley Park Adams Morgan route because I am a bar rat.
thanks.. a couple of questions.. 1) do they announce the next stop? 2) Does the circulator accept quarters - just in case you don't have any ones? 3) How late doe it run? I'll be catching a 10 pm train out of Union Station back to NY. thanks again!
Thanks
Welcome
Is it easy to travel with a stroller on public transportation?
I'd argue that it's less of a bus system and more of a way for DC to fill in a handful of routes that WMATA doesn't want to cover. Virtually all the busses most residents would take in DC are WMATA metrobusses.
Thanks for the video! I have a question about finding it… does Google maps include the circulator as a possible route or can I only find it on their app?
Rob- does the unlimited pass work for all 3 of the metro, metrobus, and circulator or do we need to pay separately for passes for each? Thanks for the help, we appreciate your videos a lot!
Can a pass work on a circular bus?
Thank you so much for putting this video out there!!! It’s hilarious to hear you try to explain the random different open hours for each route- perhaps circulator doesn’t quite realize how unfriendly and confusing this is for new riders. You totally gave the explanation your best shot, but they really need to simplify and standardize their open hours across all routes!!
Is there an unlimited visitor Smart Trip card and does it work on both Metro bus and Circulator bus?
Is it $1 each time I get on the bus?
