Yes… Freddie knew he had HIV at this point and this was also the tour where he realised just how sick he was because before this he felt fine but the strain of being on tour took a toll on his body and he didn’t recover between shows as well as he used to and it made him realise that he wouldn’t be able to tour again. The rest of the band noticed as well but they didn’t know what was wrong but knew something was up.

Freddie was going to take a minute before starting the song but Roger wouldn't let him. You looked down just at the time they cut to Freddie and you missed Freddie's facial expression where he was caught off guard and then his subsequent interaction with Roger. You should go back and check that out. The more you watch them, the more you catch these little things where they messed with each other...which is pretty entertaining. Shows their sense of humor in this one, although not all of these types of interactions are done for humor. With regard to the fans, you're very correct about Freddie and Queen. It really was about the fans. They really wanted to interact with the fans and have them be part of the show. I think everyone in the audience felt that which is why Queen's concerts were so amazing.
