I love that you recognise the amazing talent of Roger Taylor. Not many reactors do.

I thought you might enjoy reading these quotes from Freddie that explains how he felt about his music and his fans. Thanks for your reactions.
“We don’t do it for the money… we do it for the music.”
“What you must understand is that my voice comes from the energy of the audience. The better they are, the better I get.”
“I love the fact that I can make people happy, in any form. Even if it’s just an hour of their lives, if I can make them feel lucky or make them feel good, or bring a smile to a sour face, that to me is worthwhile.”
“I like people to go away from a Queen show feeling fully entertained, having had a good time.”

"When I'm dead, I want to be remembered as a musician of some worth and substance."

He's not human. Your Absolutely right. He try's to pay the fans back.
    He gives all he's got.❤❤❤

Freddie developed nodes on his vocal cords that made it difficult for him to hit the higher range that he used to be able to do so effortlessly. His voice is still magic, even without the high range.

You are so right about Freddie loving his fans and wanting to give them the best of him. It's his way of paying them for coming to see Queen.

GREAT REACTION David, Brilliant song and amazing performance by all of Queen. I'm sure that Freddie knew that he had Aids before Live Aid in 1985. LOOKING FORWARD to YOUR NEXT REACTION. 👍😎😄. Paul

You asked if this size of crowd was common? Queen's 1986 Magic Tour was basically a Stadium Tour with 26 cities. Over a million people attended the Queen Magic Tour, making it one of the largest ever. The largest number of fans at a Queen concert was in 1985 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil They played two nights during a Rock Festival. Both Queen shows were filmed (early on January 12 and January 19) and broadcast throughout Brazil by Globo. Each show was watched by nearly 200 million people in over 60 countries and in front of 80,000-100,000 people for each night setting a world record for the biggest paying audience ever at the time. It was later broadcast in the United States on MTV as "Queen: Live in Rio"

not correct pam, google it? the two shows were on jan 12th and 19th and an estimated crowd of over 250-300 thousand attended both nights but you are correct about the global audience in 60 countries broadcast by globo tv of brazil 👑✊🇬🇧

Big JACK ‘EMS for John Deacon (he wrote this). Queen wasn’t gonna release it as a single but MJ encouraged them to do so & that the song would be a big hit!! The rest is history ... thank God!! This is one of my granddaughter’s (she’s 3) favorite songs! She also loves WE WILL ROCK YOU, WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS, & RADIO GA GA!

While you mention crowd size,, Queen played 13 concerts to 700,000 people, and 250,000 at one of those concerts in Rio de Janiero,, With the press comment you mentioned,, thats where the song Scandal was born

    • @johngraham5996

the 13 shows were their 1981 south american tour where the mexicans did'nt like them and threw objects at them, and the rio show was the rock in rio festival in jan 1985, they never played rio in 81, the brazilian show in 81 was at the morumbi stadium (that i visited in 2019) 👑✊🇬🇧

Yes… Freddie knew he had HIV at this point and this was also the tour where he realised just how sick he was because before this he felt fine but the strain of being on tour took a toll on his body and he didn’t recover between shows as well as he used to and it made him realise that he wouldn’t be able to tour again. The rest of the band noticed as well but they didn’t know what was wrong but knew something was up.

I love your reactions but it looks like you missed the beginning on this one which I think is one of the funniest parts. Freddie was going to take a minute before starting the song but Roger wouldn't let him. You looked down just at the time they cut to Freddie and you missed Freddie's facial expression where he was caught off guard and then his subsequent interaction with Roger. You should go back and check that out. The more you watch them, the more you catch these little things where they messed with each other...which is pretty entertaining. Shows their sense of humor in this one, although not all of these types of interactions are done for humor. With regard to the fans, you're very correct about Freddie and Queen. It really was about the fans. They really wanted to interact with the fans and have them be part of the show. I think everyone in the audience felt that which is why Queen's concerts were so amazing. Anyway, loved the reaction!
