My thanks for making this video. I am in the process of creating a school project and this was outrageously helpful. It was short and to the point and very clear. It was quite splendid indeed. Keep up the good work son.
Thanks to the museum for your excellent historic processes videos. These are, far and away, the most concise videos on photographic processes and techniques that I have found and routinely assign to my History of Photography survey students - particularly useful those who have never been near a camera or a darkroom and those who understand processes more easily by seeing them. I only wish you would do more. The photomechanical processes, for instance. And 3-4 on the major moments in lens history covering major lens types. Major moments in camera history. The history of artificial lighting tech technologies. There are so many possibilities and i can think of no other museum (not even the V&A who have processes and technologies in their institution DNA) better placed to produce this kind of educational content.
We are so glad you're enjoying the videos! Our team is working hard right now to produce more of these videos, and also offer more extended and in-depth demonstrations and workshops. I'll pass along your suggestions!

Perfect video
I spent time in Ansel Adam's darkroom in Carmel. That was inspiring. Now, I'm working with vintage Kodak cameras - which I own, of course! 😁
does RED LIGHT COLOR harms the eye in the long run?
A dark room is for testing lights
