Hey mate. Andrew here. Awesome hack with the ratchet strap. The product is calling Car Builders door restore kit. I saw that you can get it from Repco and supercheap. Enjoy your weekend and have a good Christmas 👍
When I do balancer I use an old belt wrap it around the balancer a couple times up onto water pump pulley it chokes the balancer and locks it works everytime
I had a Toyota 100 series diesel, tryed 1/2 drive, but I find a 3/4 drive Breaker bar ,works a lot better, doesn't have any flex, cool job ,thanks for sharing, all the best to you and your loved ones
You're very welcome bro, glad the oils come into good use rather than using it for my hair 😂😂😂 whoa amazing work on that balancer nut, that amazes me that way you did it but then again you and your rigging skills is top notch, very cool 🤙 hahah those march flies are bad at your place, glad I dont get them down here 🙃 spewing about that glass, must be from the sun? damn that sucks!
VP auto and ECU won't interchange into VR. You might be able to work something out with auto if you use a manual ECU from VR but I think it's going to be complicated. Easier to source VR V8 loom and matching auto and go from there
Good onya mate another cracking vid. Don't give up on the VT. A man of your talent can sort that out. I recently bought a vt calais V6 in pretty good nick for spares for my other vt calais. So they are out there. I did up a couple of years ago a LJ Torana 2 door that was in far worse nick then your mates golden nugget. And it now goes to shows and people can't believe how bad it once was. So don't give up on it. I have faith in you. Cheers 👍
@downtheshedwithbyron I will definitely keep you in mind. I have 3 vt's including the one bought for spares. And they need a bit so if I've got anything left over I'll let you know. You should get Dan from vision trim to sort out that interior. I've known him for years. Tell him I said hello. He'll know me better as Scooter, Cheers.
@downtheshedwithbyron yeah mate been in WA for 25 years now. I used to live near Dan many years ago but have moved. Still in WA though. The Bro is cool. I have had HK'T'G'S my whole life. Own 2 HG's still. Trust me our shed stock is very similar. 👍
yeah still would like to see that vt rebuilt hahahaha. sorry. I would love to rebuild it but kinda Don't have the space and mainly that driveline makes it a very expensive project to afford haha. and i have my own crashed vt clubby to fix haha
The actuators have been a huge problem on the commodores. I've replaced the ones in my blue ute twice & once on the white ute. Great job on the harmonic balancer. I've just bought an eBay plastic welder for a couple of jobs, so I'll see how that goes.
I got a bunch of parts mate lol remember I did a 5.0L calais 😂😂 if you want a bar I got one. I also have a complete rad support and everything you need for the front end....you can have any of it for nothing mate or if you wanna do a joint rebuild 😂😂😂
