- In this talk from Orlando, FL in 1975 Ram Dass discusses how a person is just pulled into their spirituality and will receieve the transmission by any means necessary. He discusses many stories in relation to his connection to Ma Jaya and Maharaj-ji's consciousness being present in that space.

I've never thot to look up Ram Das on TH-cam. He initiated me with *Be Here Now* back when I was in High School in the 70's. I still have the book. I had no idea there was so much more material publicly available and that it was advanced enuf to keep in front of me. Many of the newer Teachers are fluffing the audiences egos and the pickin's are slim indeed.
But this hit my Nail squarely.

The part where he talked about being able to stand in the fire of death, starvation, war, loss of beloved ones et cetera with your heart open is very powerful. Whenever I feel deeply rooted and connected in the universe I feel that that is so indeed.

Wow haven't listened to Ram Dass in many many years. He was one of several first voices to really bring the eastern teachings to us in the West. He still feels as relevant as current teachers talking today. I am sure he would still have things to say now if were around.
There are thousands of stories of maharaj ji and all are full of miracles and teachings.
