Hi there! Baby Stay here and I'm trying to prepare myself for the upcoming tour this year. So the seats you selected were considered VIP? I'm just curious if VIP was a separate thing you had to purchase or if it came with the seats closest to the stage aka what you got. Thank you for the help!
hi hi~ not sure how familiar you are with kpop concerts in general so i'll just give a short run down :) VIP is usually reserved for part of seated floor/all of GA floor and sometimes super close lower bowl if playing at an arena! those seats will usually be yellow if buying on ticketmaster! for bigger groups like skz, VIP is usually included in the ticket. there are some exceptions, but that information is typically given to us when ticket announcements go up! also, we usually don't know the prices for these tickets either until the first round goes on sale or if we're really lucky we get a couple days heads up. following other groups patterns, I assume this tour's tickets with VIP will be roughly $400+ before fees depending on the venue you choose! however, VIP can also come in tiers (VIP 1, VIP 2 etc) which can also affect where you'll sit, the price and what benefits you get 🙃I am hoping skz doesn't do that so we can keep prices around $400, but in the case that they do follow those tier patterns, they can go up to $600+ fees
@@bluedal Thank you so much for replying and all the information! That really helps! I've never been to a Kpop concert before so I didn't know if VIP was an add on that I needed to stress about lol.
these tickets are for the encore in LA this year so it hasn't happened yet! HOWEVER, I did have soundcheck for ptd LA liveplay a couple years ago and they did check my ID so I could get my tickets/gifts and then I had to show my ticket to enter the venue after! You typically do have to show the ID that matches the account that was used to buy the tickets~
hello could you please explain it to me how does it work? I mean I watched you pressing 3 seats every try does it mean....? Stray Kids is touring here in my country nxt year, march and I don't have the slightest idea how to buy concert tickets online at all
depends on what you're buying, when you're buying and where you're buying! - skz released their tickets through ticketmaster as their main distributor so I have to use their site directly for "safer" buying. every country has their own ticketing sites, so you have to look into that and figure out who your official sellers are if you're not from the US. - I bought tickets during the first day they dropped (which is why I had to enter the waiting room), so I had to wait through the queue whereas if you are buying tickets for a date that has already been announced and tickets have already been released, you just go onto the site and buy what is available. - the reason I was clicking around for 3 seats was because I was buying tickets for my friends and I! I focused on the yellow dots because I wanted soundcheck! the blue dots do not come with soundcheck.
I heard there's a trick to get into queue faster by refreshing the page 1-2 minutes before tickets go on sale. I never tried this but wondered if youhave. Is this something you'd recommend or is it just best to not touch anything once you're in the waiting room?
funny you ask! I did try this with txt ticketing earlier this month and uhhh it was both successful and a fail...? my friend and I teamed up and I had my laptop open with two dates and they had a laptop and ipad open. they refreshed about 30-45 seconds before it hit 3pm (our ticketing time) and they got in fast at about 500ish in line for both devices whereas one of my dates I refreshed right at 3pm on accident and the other i left alone and I got 2k+ for the accidental refresh and less than 1k on the one i left alone! HOWEVER, my accidental refresh queue did change to 1500 like 30 seconds in so idk if that refresh helped in those regards. so I say go for it if you're down to gamble! just make sure you refresh 30 seconds before your queue time at the latest!! don't make my mistake and accidentally refresh too late. TM really is a pain so who knows if this really does anything >.
@@bluedal Thank you for the reply! I've been testing this w/ different presales & yeah, the refreshing is a big gamble. I will do more research on the matter.
depends on the group! skz was the first group I bought tickets for where I did not have to sign up for pre sale. other groups, like bts for example, do have membership pre sales and ticketmaster even holds verified fan presale at times as well! you can always check on the group/company's twitter account to see which methods they will have available~
tickets were going to drop at 5pm cst so I had gotten on at 4pm. however, the waiting room didn't open until 4:30pm, so I entered the waiting room at that time! ticketmaster recommends at least 10 minutes prior
watching this to prepare for when txt drops their tickets in a couple days 😭😭

For your soundcheck did they check your ID/ask your name for entry? Or was it just them scanning your ticket to let you in?

did you always refresh the web when in the queue?
nooo! TM refreshes for you, so I just sit and wait for it to do it on its own :]

can you get vip tickets only on the first day ?
how does the vip work? do you sign your account up for the soundcheck presale beforehand?
depends on the group!
