I've been making those tinder wicks like the Atomic Bear for years with our Cub Scouts. Just a 4" tube of aluminum and some jute cord waxed with paraffin. Only costs about 75¢ to make one, and they work fantastic!

What a TEASE with the MyMedic gear!! LMAO 🤣. I received the small "Hiker Medic" pouch from them awhile back and was impressed that it contained some items that "another" kit did not. They seem to have some pretty good stuff along with the much-needed visual organization. Looking forward to the next video. 👍

Early in the video, you referred to a battery powered lantern you received in another box. I’m like 99 % sure I know which one you’re referring to. I had the same problem with the lantern turning off just by barely bumping the thing. In my situation, I failed to realize that the bottom of the lantern was actually the battery compartment lid. I only twisted it to the right to tighten the lid closed (it’s threaded), and the lantern has been flawless since then. It’s a great product! 👍

I just got that box. Disappointed. A blow up camp pillow, sol emergency blanket, tiny red first aid kit, 2 knives and the bigger black my medic bag. Hope it gets better.
