- The Nissan Qashqai is economical, classy inside and extremely refined. It’s also one of the most practical small SUVs.
Some versions are pricey and the ride is a little jittery around town, but ultimately the Nissan Qashqai is a superb small SUV that is a pleasure to live with.

Coming up to 3 years now and 61.000 its been brillant no trouble love it ..
We've lived with the Qashqai Tekna 1.6 DCi since 2018 and it has been a pleasure... and it isn't over yet ;-)
It's done almost a quarter of a million kilometers (248 thousand) so far and seems to have many thousands left in it, with only the usual brake repairs, a front wheel bearing and services.
It is a perfect car for the average family.
All vehicles should have a integrated reversing camera for safety of children

I test drove a 2015 model yesterday and was well impressed with it. Was hoping to go for a newer version, but all the ones available have high mileage whereas the 2015 model had less than 100k km. We never owned an suv before but this looks like it would be a good fit in the household.

"Strong reputation for reliability" - utter bollocks! What Car's own website shows owner satisfaction is less than 3/5 and every single complaint is about reliability; Qashqais in particular are known for their shoddy build quality. I live in the town these are made in and the workers only get them because they're massively discounted, otherwise few others would bother.

+MaZEEZaM A Challenger tank has a 26 lite engine and only does 40 mph.. its not about size but how that power is used. A 1.2 can be quite powerful.
I bought one. It rattles. Breaks down Mpg is awful I regret the day I had it Nasty cheap rubbish Don't believe me ? Buy one

Poor build quality. Panels out of line, doors out of line, fuel economy figures like most manufacturers are just lies. 1.5dci has no power at all.
Bluetooth system is a joke! Why can't I scroll through my phone book list using the steering wheel remote buttons? Also why can't the phone info be displayed in the driver display along with the centre infotainment unit. Basic safety features that aid the driver like VW can do! Why no memory function on the drivers electric seat? Both my wife and I drive our Qashqai but it takes ages to set the seat comfortably after the other drives it.

I have a one 2015 and its brilliant but only probs is abit lack of power 1.5dci it is and screen keeps resetting now and again
So what does it say about the CVT gearbox which is a serious expensive weakness with this car. Google it if you dont believe me.
