It is true you can make a lot of money in the UK. However also note the costs. Your are not getting paid pounds and spending rupees! Also there are other factors to consider. Having said that, from what I know of India, you are much better off here than India.

Thanks for writing in Hope. Every place has its pros and cons, the same goes with the UK and India. The UK has a better standard of living and the opportunity to make more money. India has friends and family and the life you are accustomed to. They're both great in their own ways.

My job occupation code is in the skilled worker list? Will it be difficult to get a tier 2 sponsored Job? I have studied in India and work in an Indian company. Does tier 2 visa sponsorship prefer degrees from elite colleges and work experience at MNCs? If yes, how can I upskill my cv so that it is easier for me to get a job? Are short certifications from coursera or edx helpful or full fledged 1 year online certification from elite universities will be better? Or it is the portfolio that matters?

If you are moving on an Intra company transfer visa, you do not need to pass the IELTS exam. But skilled visa applicants would still need to unless you are from a majority English speaking country or have done a bachelors, masters or PHD in the UK or if you've done your degree-level course in English and have confirmation from Ecctis (formerly UK NARIC) that the qualification is comparable to
a Batchelors or Masters degree or PhD in the UK (English proficiency service).
