Only after removing all covers from my WF2510 and putting them back on I found your video. Turned out that blowing some dust of the sensor was sufficient to get the printer back to work. Thanks for your help.
Thanks you man!! Worked for me on WF 2510 with 0x89 Fatal ERROR. I also could reasemble the metal piece up the sensor, but the metal piece itself, help the error to occur. I managed to reafirm that; but with the *exact* amount of thin piece of paper resolves the error.

I cleaned the sensor with cotton bud and alcohol. Only had to remove the metal cover to better reach it. After that printer works like a charme. Thanks for sharing!
I watched your video, thought how stupid that's not gonna work, but did it, little piece of my notepad folded up underneath the sensor, turned it back on, instantly works with no problem. Thanks very much :-)

Inizialmente però a me indica un altro errore: printer error see your documentation Poi premendo i tasti da te indicati mi da l'altro che appare nel video 0x89
well that unfortunately didnt help me. i just had to clean the sensor.... now i have a "scanner problem"...:-'( gonna throw that printer away and buy a new one. definetly NO EPSON! they dont even have customer service for my printer....
