We have the 2013 cb shine. Have done 1.75 lakhs+ on it. Daily commute for about 50+ kms. It vibrates horribly since last 3 years. No issues apart from some small ones.. But will now upgrade to unicorn.
You have to push Passing button forward to activate upper beam.

This bike engine is gem.. my friend have it. I was shocked with the refinement and low end grunt which is necessary for city. 2nd gear is long with good low end. it makes it easy to ride in traffic.
I have two of them. First one bought in 2015 and the second one in 2019. Both are running absolutely fine and nothing wrong in part👍

Have been driving Shine for almost one year, it's a good bike. If anyone wants to buy go for Shine SP.
I have regular CB SHINE and after it crosses 50km/hr, one feels the bike should have one more gear. So go for SHINE SP. if you have to drive within city limits then CB SHINE is fine but if you have to travel outskirts of the city, even if its 10 km outside city limits go for SHINE SP.

PLEASE DON'T BUY SHINE BS6!
My Shine purchase date: 11 Nov 2020.
KMs till now 3300 (28 June 2021)
Honda betrayed us introducing Shine BS6.
1.Unstable gearbox, gears stuck often. Unsafe bike.
2. High pricing (96000 Single Disk brake)
3. WORST Suspension. It bounces back. Even a Scooty has better suspension than Shine.
4. Only basic facilities, dim head light.
5. Low pickup.
6. Weak hardware.
7. Service centre only says bike is ok yet it's not.
8. Only 50 km mileage that any sport bike can easily give with 150cc while Shine is 125cc.
9. Louder sound.
10. Weak tyres.
11. Hard seat.
Conclusion: Do not waste your money in Shine BS6. Instead buy a 2nd hand Shine BS4 or BS3 if you only like Shine or just go for sport bikes like Apache 4v or Pulsar 125cc or 150cc, or just buy a Scooty.
