    here is how you can build your own MRE for emergencys, survival, SHTF, hiking and whatever else you need to use your MRE for.
    these are just some simple cheap ideas for anyone looking to save money on the real MRE build you own and do your own thing!
    i was able to make 7 MRE with most of the things we got from the store that will last a long time if rationed right!
    these homemade mre meals are all 450 to 570 calories. these will make great packs for your day trip in the woods or making enough and having 3 bags a day camping super affordable and awesome to have easy to make!

    if you would like to make all this a little easier i would definitley recommend some mylar bags you can purchase a bulk on amazon these bags are very useful and going to be 90 percent of you meals unless you are carrying a cook kit with you on your trip in the woods.

    Don't forget the condiments, plenty of places have hot sauce, or flavor packs, salt pepper, etc. If you have a vac sealer, you can make juice pak pouches premeasured for whatever container you want. Dehydrated veggies can boost your DIY meals taste level. I've waited til last minute then transferred McDs sauces into smaller plastic sealer bags for other meals, so I don't make a mess.

    I made something similar to this with a friend last year. We used a vacuum sealer. I ate all of them a few months ago.

    I’m most definitely gonna go to dollar tree soon, I will find things that only needs to be heated up like the 1 minute cooked meal just heat up and you’re good.
    If I do pasta or anything like that I will cook them and put them in a self heating bag and put the seasonings in.

      It was actually the family dollar/ dollar tree. Bags just ripped so used a dollar general bag

    MRE's are pricey here. Yours is a way better idea.
