Crabby/ kingler literally has legendary lvl attack and incredible defense. I beat Jotoh then sweat Kanto and eventually deafened RED without ev/Iv training in a solo run with him in soul silver. He’s one of the most under rated gen 1 Pokémon IMO
Wishiwashi's probably one of my favorite Pokémon. The concept is incredibly cool. Definitely the best fish Pokémon
It's ability is cool and parallels how some real world fish schools work.
It’s got a base stat of 620, higher by 20 points than all pseudo legends and mythicals

I used a bulky wishiwashi in gen 7 (max spdef max health EQ/toxic, scald rest sleep talk) It was a blast

I thought Wishiwashi was one of the coolest pokemon to come out in Gen 7, it's ability is really school and the design overall makes it my favorite fish Pokemon in the series

PS. You were right, the drapion doesn’t have any speed investments. Max def and sp. def toxic, protect, leech life and whirlwind (works well if I have stealth rocks set up)

Poliwhirl is terrible. Underrated mons in my opinion would be stuff like crawdaunt, diggersby,dou blade, raichu alola, chandelure, marowak alola, reuniclus, runeragious and even colossal.

Cryogonal is underrated, its attack and defense are kind of weak but it makes up for it with its amazing special attack and speed. Its shiny is also cool
Wishiwashi: I think its ability is what is holding it from being very good. If the Schooling form was... just its normal form, and would have access to other abilities, it'd be better. And I'd say that its coverage is good, but it's just that Gyarados is right there with similar coverage (if not better) and just better abilities (Intimidate and Moxie are both great)
Stunfisk: I don't really have anything bad to say about Stunfisk- I just think the issue is that lots of OU Pokémons are Ground Types, like Landorus-T or Excadrill. But it's actually decent, I agree.
Stonjourner: Trick Room King. Just overshadowed by Stakataka, sadly. It just does its job but better, and is significantly more bulky. So, yeah, it's great, there's just one Pokémon that is straight up better.
Maractus: saying that it's underrated is a hot take. I love Maractus but it just lacks... stats. It's all very average. Chlorophyll is an amazing ability, but Venusaur just do it better. Lilligant too maybe ? She probably has worse coverage but she's definitely a better offensive threat.
Rotom-Freeze: Well Rotom is a good Pokémon, it's just that the Ice Type and Blizzard are not necessarily the best thing for him. So I get that it's kinda underrated, I guess that the Fire and Grass Rotoms are better.
Throh: Probably underrated, it's just that there's no reason to use Throh over Machamp. Machamp is just straight up better. I do think Throh can be used against some big OU threats, he's definitely decent enough.
I used it in vgc with worry seed whimsicott and comfy for support to keep healing it. Crazy damage

it's not technically NU, but I feel like boltund is pretty underrated. it's fast, hits pretty hard with strong jaw, and has good coverage. you can even try a special set with competitive and throat spray, though I think it's kind of hard to set up. I like boltund but I hardly ever see anyone else use it.
If only Torterra was in the sword and shield dex :(

I'm glad you used this particular thumbnail, because Wishiwashi was my favorite team member during my playthrough of Ultra Moon
Shiny Wishiwashi is surprisingly underrated despite it not changing terribly much. I do have some bias for it though since I randomly fished for an encounter one day and stumbled on it.
Is the totem wishiwashi you can get actually stronger or is it just bigger?

I feel like Sawsbuck is an underrated Pokemon. It is is a BEAST if you use it decently! My first run with a Sawsbuck went pretty well (and I named all the mons on its debut team after Kingdom Hearts, the Sawsbuck being Marluxia)
Too bad it's not in the SW/SH dex >_< But I still go on ORAS, XY, and US/UM occasionally and retry my "underdeer" on various builds
I also appreciate that you used Stonjourner, not because I particularly like it... but because it gets WAY more hate than it deserves
It's come to my attention while watching this video that my favourite Pokemon are usually either underrated like Maractus, Forgotten like Kricketune, or are known for not having the bests stats like Dusknoir.
What can I say, I love pokemon that you don't see everyday, or pokemon with a unique/weird design. Or Pokemon that are just downright abominations XD.
I am currently replaying Ultra moon and my Team
consists of Minior, Komala, Castform, Wishiwashi, Mimikyu and Ditto already made it through Acerolas Trial and try to see if I can beat the game with this Team.

I'm training a Skorupi in Pokemon Reborn.. I had a Keen eye one, Adamant Nature.. I used a Ability Capsule on it trying to get Sniper(give it Scope Lens and Cross Poison/Night Slash) but it went to Battle Armor, wich for a later game playthrough is better any way .. It's one of the few cases that the regular abilities are way better than the hidden one

Drapion got a buff where it can learn Wicked Blow. So, slap a Choice Scarf and you'll have so much fun(unfortunately Drapion itself was nerfed from 90 to 80 Attack but it's for confiscation how Wicked Blow Plus Sniper is a wicked combo)
@@darianclark3980 yes, I seen PChallenges Nuzlocke and he used Scarf Drapion to body everything with Wicked Blows... Krookodile also gets it in RR.. Moxie Scarf Wicked blow sounds fun as well

@@qTravis666 you can in Reborn..and I actually managed to get Sniper on it (it's a fangame BTW, and a very good one) All abilities are treated as a normal one, you can even get HA starters pretty easy (I did 2 playthroughs and in both my starter had HA first try) same happens in Rejuvenation (it's a spin-off of Reborn) you can also get HAs on wild mons which sucks sometimes(I wanted a Flame Body Talonflame but had to catch a bunch of Fletchlings because I was getting all Gale Wings ones and Gen7 Gale Wings is useless 😂😂 Ability Capsules are kind of rare to find but are a Pickup item later in the game so I can change Abilities to better fit my needs for the next battle
For underrated Pokemon, how about Whimsicott, or Talonflame? I don't see them used often, but I can attest to their usefulness.

Honestly, Galarian Stunfisk is so cool, and it's criminally underrated. Terrain pulse was made for this mon. Plus, it has a trapping move. It has so much potential. I've used one before and a special one does so much damage with stab terrain pulse. Weakness Policy unburden Hitmonlee is extremely underrated as well. Pair it with Comfey and it's deadly. And then there's Cradily. Must I say more? Waaaay too underrated

Speaking of which, a little reminder, there is a Pimpnite-themed Virtual Trainer in Pokemon Uranium, just search for the online ID no. 152791 if anyone wants to battle it. (Sadly no 69 in the online ID like the Trainer ID)
I think infernape is an underrated pokemon. I love infernape so much, it's my favorite pokemon and it's really strong too, but it always gets overshadowed by Blaziken

First and third battles you could've won if you protected with Throh, by using max guard on the final turn of Throh's Dynamax to stall out a turn of Lapras's Gigantamax, and in game 3 by protecting against Air Slash to chip away at Charizard's health through Solar Power.

Have you tried life orb Cursola, choice specs/life orb Vikavolt and guts Flareon in trick room? Far too many players underestimate these Pokémon.

Definitely Golisopod. Emergency Exit can be just as much of a strength as it can be a weakness
It's supposed to combo with First Impression.. Like, FI, attack again, get Emergency Exit, and then swap it in for a revenge kill or something

Full pikachu team but it is about the PEE. Like Gmax pikachu is big PEE, alolah raichu is fast PEE, mimikyu is creepy PEE.

Craidily is underrated because it has recover and also has electric resist and water immunity, it's not so good because it's doesn't resist ground, it's defensive stats of 86 HP, 97 defense and 107 special defense isn't half bad with recovery it should at least be like ru it deserves like uu
That first battle is pretty much every battle for me. 'Cept half the time you have the other guy saying stuff like "EZ" or "git gud noob." One thing the main series has over Showdown: no chat.
I feel an underrated Pokémon rarely used is Starmie.
That was an awesome first battle, I know that feeling SOOOO well. And YAY WISHIWASHI! It such a strong Water type and looks so cool. I like running a Spec set or Scarf Set.

Idk if it counts but I'll say Heliolisk...its one of my favorite pokemon. Cool abilities and nice moovepool. Braviary is has a great coverage and pretty bulky. Close combat to boost attack, brave bird to boost speed, and iron head to boost defense.
Maybe "Full Clefairy Evolution Team"? The sets he'd make with that team could be interesting to see. ^_^

I get messages about how no one ever sees people using my teams. One of my recent ones was a Seviper/Zangoose/Slaking team, another of my favorites is Linoon, Tropius, Exploud, Altaria, Electrode and Hitmonchan.
Video 7 of asking for a G-Max Snorlax Sweep... or a meme team of trying to get the final kill with a swapped Black Sludge.
