@@imthusan Look before you leap as I have tried this much before but lost. You should remember that the stock you are betting should be something strong fundamentally. You should also remember that you are obliged to buy one full lot of the stock which means diversification is impossible unless you have the money that the presenter is having in his account. He seems to be fair and honest and therefore listen to his disclaimers and warning before taking a position. Good luck and sorry if you feel that my unsolicited advice is not useful to you.

You are an extremely gifted Teacher. At 61, what I learned from your video never learned all my life. It is all stuck in my grey cells. What is the risk is the question I ask myself. Too good to be true. What happens when there is a gap down in the stock in which you hold a Put position? How does one hedge the position? This surely cannot be applied in a volatile market. If you can make one more video for me who is hungry for such information, I will be grateful forever. God bless such a wonderful Teacher.

Not every one has so much cash lying around. But good motivational video.
Mr. Sundar , thanks for the detailed coverage of the sale of put option and cash covered stuff. Two things you have not covered are : 1. The amount of margin you need to sell those put options. that is not explained in details , else ordinary person think that it is very much easy to sell put and walk out with money , which is not true.
2. On the same line , why sell the put option, (of course you should be bullish so that the market move up). is this same strategy applicable for sale of call option and if you can explain that will be of great help.Thank you sir the detailed explanation.
Bro deep out of money so time decay is main works in the options selling, option buying not like that selling is big story cat tell in comments but i don’t understand in his video with out stoploss and with out strangles how is getting profits only out of the mony base
He had sold 120 lots of nifty which means average 1 lakh per lot so he had spent around 1.2 cr for the first shown

Small investors can't use it as we can't buy 505 shares in Reliance or 1200 shares in ICICI bank. To short a put.
Needs capital of lifetime and it's not that easy as it seems.
If you want correct Analysis then search for "Calsenfinancials" on telegram.
There will be hell a lot of charges. That will change all the calculations which he mentioned here.

Sir the important thing you have missed that your collateral will be block till the contract expired although you have explained very well 😊
But that collateral say FD will keep fetching the interest rate in ur account
That collateral can be released whenever you close your position it's not the necessary to go that long

Sir, your videos are very valuable. Thank you. I have a question. There is no need to hedge the cash secured puts? Let's say I sell Nifty 6000 put. The market comes down to say 4000 due to a depression in the economy. I'll incur a loss of Rs 2000. How to secure myself here?
Also when it comes to Bajaj finance, the stock has given massive returns in the past. Its a no brainer that we'd love to take the delivery of the stock at Rs.1800. But what if something goes wrong fundamentally in the stock during this crisis time and the price crashes, just like yes bank. We'd be compelled to take delivery at Rs. 1800 and sell at the current market price. Is there any way to hedge ourselves from this risk?

You can buy and sale put simultaneously and limit you profit (premium amt). but as he explained due to computer system such opportunities are very low.

Looks like this is the safest strategy on options. I would want to understand more on what’s the difference between squaring off the position ourselves v/s letting it get squared off by the exchange ok expiry. Do we pay more charges in one compered to the other ??

The problem with this strategy is you have to buy in lot... retailers are not having much cash for 500 shares. If any one wants to buy just 50 shares or below this strategy will not work.

IN 2015 i have made a software for mkt trading.. that time i was not so sure about its success .. i tried to sell it at only one lakh ruppees.. but that time negative people like u has not accepted my proposal .. so i have earned myself and started trading ... now my income from mkt has become 50000 monthly on average...

While I understand the assignment of stocks I do not understand when you mention about selling of puts on Nifty or BankNifty. What happens when Nifty is below the strike price at which I sold the put? Will they assign Nifty etf or will it be cash settled?
Options are always cash settled.
Here , he have an investing mindset. He is ready to take delivery. Mindset is important to be in a trade. You may go for multiple strike to hedge you investment. You may occurred loss in 1-2 put . But you gain overall profit. Naked put is always be risky.
That's risk management and win ratio.
@@DrDoji To my understanding, and as explained in the video above, Options on stocks are assigned if in ITM at expiry. However Mr Sundar exaplains that if you sell puts on Nifty and if it is ITM at expiry, he mentions that you can buy any stock. My understanding is that options on Index are cash settled. Hence my question.

Selling far far month ( Dec) put will only fetch interest of 1-1.25% , as there will be margin requirements of 1.65 lacs per lot...
If you want to take delivery far month OTM will give high premium compare with near month..

Selling cash secured put is one of the favourite strategies used by warren buffet. It's a great way to invest in stock on your price while you collect premium and wait. Thanks for info.
Beautiful, knowbody will share this kind of knowledge. I thing you have learned in hardway and helping other people. I am an NRI, Made some money investing in mutual fund. Then I became greedy without much knowledge entered in stock market. Lost money even investing in good company. There is lot of up and down movement in shares. I used to call icicidirect directly after placing the order to get information, how to square off. I learned in hardway. Initially I lost lot of money. Nowadays I warn the retailers and first time buyers especially NRI, regarding share market. Still retailers buy cheap shares and cry. Without knowledge about share market, you will loose money. Once you loose money and if you stay in the market with knowledge and experience, you will make definitely. Positional trading in good company will fetch you atleast 10 percent to 20 percent per month. Because this companies go down and up because profit booking by mutual funds and FPI.You have divide money for positional trade and F&O. NRI avoid intraday unless you are able to concentrate market from morning to evening.
I really appreciate your transparency in showing the back office reports which none of the tips providers are prepared to show! All people show charts after they are completed hours before or months before!!
But I think the problem with writing put is the compulsion to buy one full lot. Unless we are sure of what is a fundamentally strong stock, it is very risky. I tried it but was unsuccessful. The idea is simple to understand and execute but practical exiting it will be very difficult.
