Yeah I feel that, first real serious crash I had I just got up like nothing happened just thinking I was in more pain than usual and it wasn't until after like ten minutes that someone pointed out that my hand was extremely swollen and my wrist was... a bit out of shape to say the least. Take it a bit more seriously now after a couple months in hospital and a surgery to make my wrist point the right direction again lol You don't realise how bad it can be until you're the one in hospital thinking "holy crap, I could have died or could be drinking my meals through a tube if I came down a bit worse"
Just imagine watching your $50,000 helicopter ride coming over the mountains and laughing saying “gonna life flight the old man out of here there it is” and laughing with no concern in your voice at all. I would crawl off of that mountain before I pay for a life flight lmao

His ride to the hospital, clean up there, plus his life-flight to a specialized medical facility, even before his 10 day coma, cost his insurance companies 100, 000.00 US dollars. -- Oh! Has riding a pedal bike and had been run down by a speeding pick-up truck which caused these injuries. :-)

Fortunately his family is still near him to help with those things he finds confusing due to his brain damage. :'( when he woke up after his coma --when he was 17.... He woke up to the 3rd personality of his life! :-D The doctors tell him and his family that is normal.... Fortunately for him though, he keeps waking up nicer each time he cracks his skull. He thinks he has done enough self improvement by now though.... and he will do his very best to avoid any more head injuries! :-D
