BiG DiRTY 2016 - PT 3: 4WD BATTLE for POSiTiON - 1/5 Scale Offroad Racing Event | RC ADVENTURES

- This video is for the Real, RAW, Hard Core 1/5th scale Racers. Just straight up BiG DiRTY jumps and full throttle rip-roaring gas powered 2-stroke engines. It's Fast, It's Furious, and it's ALL ENGiNE in this video. It's high flying, and action packed.. and this is only the qualifying round. I took the opportunity to edit this particular film for all the engine-heads watching the show. I know how much pleasure these engines can bring to peoples ears - and its nice to have the sound unimpeded by external music. You can really hear how the engines are tuned, and how they react at 3182.41' elevation.. and in the hard packed dirt.
These powerful 1/5th Scale RC trucks are fuelled and ready to entertain you for a full 30 minutes of pure petrol powered pleasure.
Welcome back to the RCSparks Studio Ranch, my friends and fellow RC Addicts! The BiG DiRTY is in full affect - this is a party my wife and I throw every year for our racing friends. We open up our backyard track and throw a 3 day event, that is free for all who race, and spectate.
With the help of friends, and family - and a very understanding wife - we have hosted this event for three years!

What a great event! It goes to show what is possible when you get like minded people together. I'd love to make a trip up in 2017 in the Motorhome loaded with film gear and RC's.

Awesome video. I love big scale RC cars. I've had several 1/10 scale cars through the years, both electric and nitro, but eventually sold them all after I got my Baja 5b. I hope to get a short course truck in the future as well

I know full models with sound/light/full functions can run up into the thousands...but this maybe not so, as it's functional versus just a pretty look.

Wow, one thing that really stands out is how much steering Large has in comparison to the other trucks! That thing looks like a blast to drive! How is your car set up as opposed to another 5T?

Very cool, it seems like it takes forever to get those motors into the powerband though!
it takes a lot of Oomph to move 45lbs up to 45mph! Then to slow it down, and accelerate, then to slow it down and accelerate.. the motors and everything in these trucks get very hot, including those clutch shoes and springs

Always enjoy the friendly community atmosphere at the events. I think the majority of people are alright everywhere around the globe, but the Canadian percentage seems just a tad higher.

In the 4wd qualifying round, the dvxl looks so small (I know its not a small rc) compared to the 5ive surrounding it lol
Can't wait until I get my car repaired and ready for this type of action. I wanna see if I can replace as much of plastic with metal so nothing breaks though
