Thrift Finds: Rare McGraw Edison box fan and rare swamp cooler box fan

@CartierEd, you’ll love the comfort conditioner. I am aware you have some of them, and this is a recent find of mine. I didn’t expect to find one of these at HopeThrift
The swamp cooler box fan came from a Goodwill of all places. I oiled the motor on the swamp cooler, which is a McMillan. The Edison motor is untouched as of this video’s recording. Maybe Ed would want this. It’s buzzy, which tells me something is seriously about to go wrong with the motor. It’s strange because these McGraw Edison motors are typically well varnished.
I’ll eventually get to cleaning and rejuvenating the motor. Also it is horrifically out of balance.
