What’s the movie Maid in Manhattan about?
Marisa Ventura (Jennifer Lopez from The Boy Next Door and Hustlers) is a single mother who works in a posh Manhattan hotel and dreams of a better life for herself and her young son (Tyler Posey from Teen Wolf and Truth or Dare). One day, as a game, her colleague and friend Stephanie (Marissa Matrone) makes her put on an outfit of one of the richest clients of the hotel, Caroline Lane (Natasha Richardson from Gothic and The White Countess). Marisa enjoys this moment until the unexpected arrival of a hotel guest and senatorial candidate, Christopher Marshall (Ralph Fiennes from Red Dragon and Harry Potter), who enters the room without warning. It's love at first sight. After a delightful evening spent together, they both fall in love with each other. Marisa, uncomfortable, continues to play the role of Caroline Lane, who is desperate to get hold of the senator. When Marisa's true identity is revealed, issues of class and status threaten to separate them. The young woman is fired in the process. Can two people from very different worlds overcome their differences and live happily ever after?

I'm not making uneducated comments here, just pointing out it's not cool either accidental or intentional. Emily it wasn't intentional and her friend did force to try them on despite her objections she can't and he walked in at the wrong time it was an accident and it just a movie and you are taking way too seriously she didn't steal the clothes stealing would be keeping them and she wasn't she only wore them and brought them back

Even the world will tumble many countless times..Maid in Manhattan is a 1of a kind moview. I can watch this over n over just like the Sound of Music, The 10 Commandments. Anything Jlo does sparks.
This follows a similar formula as Pretty Woman. With the hotel manager being very sage like and nice to Vivian.
at least vivian can act, i can't say the same for marisa.

It serves Marisa right getting fired especially after lying to Chris about her being Caroline. Had she not stolen the dress she would still have her job and her coworkers shouldn’t feel sorry for her they should be ashamed of her for lying to Chris like that.
