I have a question regarding the AP Slug. With the change in A20 giving AP Ammo a bit of extra damage in addition to penetrating a percentage of a target's armor I'm curious whether this makes the AP Slug better than the Shotgun Shells for non armored zombies despite the shells having multiple pellets to deal dmg?
@@crapsound Shotgun shells themselves now no longer have a penalty against armor so it's not as big of an issue. Also shells have pellets and each pellet has a high dismemberment chance. If you have like 8-10 strength, and the extra dismemberment chance shotgun book, chances are that a mouthful of buckshot will 1 hit kill any enemy in the game at close (within 3 meters) range regardless of armour or difficulty as each pellet has that high decap chance. Radiated zombies have a high resistance to dismemberment but the maths is still on your side so that the next 1-2 shots is going to pop their head.

Maybe not enough for a video, but the most helpful 7 Days “tip” I ever learned was investing in Parkour. I slept on that skill for too long thinking it was useless. Once I realized it also increases your jump height and gave it a try, it was a game changer. It makes getting around the world so much easier. Now I rush Parkour 2 pretty much regardless of what build I’m using. And fewer snapped legs is a nice bonus.
This. With the recent archery buff I stopped investing in stealth and invested those perk points into parkour, run n gun, and flurry of blows instead. Now I can clear POIs ludicrously fast and can outmaneuver ferals with ease.
Normally I'd just giggle at using terms like "eating books" but being a fan of both Zomboid and 7D2D, I'd say that yes, 7D2D survivors really are eating their books then absorbing the knowledge through their stomachs at lightning speed. The survivors in Zomboid have to actually take a good part of a day reading the entire book, but at least they're not consuming them. Honestly if I could learn and retain information inside a book by just consuming it, I would learn so many things and speak ALL the languages.
I always forget about this one until people talk about it in multi-player. It's a nice boost, and isn't as unbalanced as it may seem. 6k stacks are beyond the means of a level 0 for quite some time. Someone could lend them to you, but if you've got someone doing that, they're probably also already equipping you far beyond your legit means already. Multi-player in general is accelerated play anyway, as abandoned loot bags laying around, and high-end items, accumulating in trader inventories from interacting with advanced players on the server give a new person access to lvl 6 items, motor tools, and schematics early on even if they're not directly interacting with the other players.
I'm so new I don't even know where you find book crates. Never seen them before. Never-the-less, thanks for this and I'll consider if If I somehow discover the recipe!
Always thought this was such a useless book until I found it gave XP. Makes for a really stupid start when you find this, learning elixir, and nerdy glasses on day one (though I've yet to manage in A20).
I love this mechanic personally. It's hard to find this book and also difficult to collect the resources if you aren't specing into strength. & not to use those resources you'd have to be well off in the game as well 🤙

@@Haxior5506 it does if you have it open when the stack finishes. You can also cheese it, but filling all the output slots with something. When you open the workstation the finished stack will go right into your inv. and you will get the XP. What I do is drink an elixir and craft like 5 stacks in my backpack, open the workstation and craft 5 stacks of another mat. When the elixir is done i'll do it again with 2 other mats
i open this video to get some XP, notice the location, and see I am literally working on cleaning up the exact same tool store as the one in the intro. wtf
I"m honestly not a big fan of this kind of stuff.....if you want free XP, just give it to yourself, as the game can be modded however you want. or, just play the game and level up the old fashion way
I personally think it's taking away fun from game. The posibility to cheat exp like that. Yes *Cheat* cause I don't know how to call something that gives you above 30k exp for nothing in half minute.
It's not on the players fault this problem exists. Point the finger at the game devs who leave these exploits wide open to be taken advantage of. Many exploits have existed for a while and they simply ignore them.

@@V1rtualFlod I do this with the machine gunner buff with movespeed based on kill. Combine this with the free reload skills and you're set.

Are worlds not random? The spot you filmed this is literally my current base... I was so tripped out- the bridge, the hills, the road are all the same
Procedual generation uses an algorithm i think. Not completely random

Additional tip: You can drink a Learning Elixir for bonus XP when crafting the bundles. :)
