The trend of 1 crossover game per video continues... I own 5) Dune: Imperium. And it's a much better game than #68! Also, it's too early to count it but I think Things in Rings may be under the Christmas tree. So, currently on pace for only a 12% crossover. Probably will pick up as we get into the top of the list but may be a struggle to even hit the 20% level.
I think the fact you haven't played Uprising explains why it is this low on the list. The game in general doesn't seem to be that high a priority for you. (No criticism here, btw)
I mean everything is relative :) Dune Imperium hasn't and has never been "my favorite. It's always been a game that I enjoyed a lot, as it's been in my top 100 since I played it...but yes, the lower half of my top 100 are games I love....the top half of my top 100 are games I'm obsessed with. Dune Imperium has usually been in the former category. Although I do disagree with the idea that because I haven't played Uprising, that means anything. Vindication was my number one game last year and I haven't played some of those expansions. Often if I like a game, I'm content with what's there until I'm ready to try more stuff.
Based on what I read when deciding whether to buy Uprising (I eventually did), Imperium with Ix is generally regarded as better than Uprising. That ended up aligning with my opinion after playing Uprising. So Alex has played what is generally seen as the best version of the system. I don't think him playing Uprising would change anything.

The app for root has killed the physical game for me.
Dune 68 is criminal! Garbage game! All jokes aside I've learned to accept that Alex isn't always right all the time lol
