6:30 Naruto wouldnt advice killing Orichimaru, Naruto as the Hokage actually hidden Orichimaru away to act as the shadow hokage. He knows that Orochimaru can benefit the world, and killing him would make sure his sons best friend Mitski never exists. He would just bring Orochimaru into the fold, explain the situation, get him a white Zetsu so he stops body jumping and likely put him to work to deal with the future Alien invasion.
His plan was to kill him now to prevent the Konoha Invasion and Hiruzen’s death,and then for Sasuke to revive Orochimaru later using Anko’s curse mark like in the og timeline.

I would love this, especially if part of the story is her actually giving Sasuke the mental health evaluation. He’s needed for years and then getting him the mental health. I haven’t finished yet, but this entire “kill or don’t kill Orochimaru/hiruzen” conflict makes no sense. There’s no world where Naruto would want to kill Orochimaru.. 😭 Naruto is literally the one who set boruto and mitsuki on the same team to make them best friends. He’s the one who pushed for orochimaru’s pardon.. like Jit trippin bro. More importantly Sasuke wouldn’t want hiruzen gone.. by the time Sasuke grew up as an adult he understood hiruzen and the elders. If anything Sasuke would Trust an unwavering old man like hiruzen over Tsunade. And again, hiruzen didn’t fail in the 1st and 2nd SWW. All we’ve been told is that he left error for the 3rd SWW to start. Which is implied to be him sparing the tsuchikage and the stone village. Hiruzen also didn’t fail the hyuga incident. Hiruzen was about to Goto war with the Hidden cloud until hiashi volunteered to stop the war. Hiruzen left it up to the hyuga to decide. Which if anything was the best option. After the entire leaf village and most of their shinobi had just been killed/decimated from the nine tails. He didn’t fail the Uchiha massecre either. Hiruzen was the only one on either side who tried to remedy a peace treaty. And despite that the Uchiha tried to commit Bloody treason. And even after that it was Obito, itachi and Danzo who pulled off the massecre. Hiruzen didn’t order it. Itachi and Danzo Are both more to blame than hiruzen is. And my brother.. they don’t need Tsunade to save rock Lee.. Sakura being sent back too was a major part of this timeline. She’s already a better medical ninja than Tsunade. This entire conflict feels EXTREMELY Forced. And it doesn’t make sense from absolutely any of the character perspectives. The original what if Naruto got sent back seemed much more realistic. Keying hiruzen in on what happened so they can work with him made SO Much more sense. Usually these videos are W, but I gotta be honest so far this one is an L. Edit: just finished and Bro what the heck. this is the worst what if I’ve ever seen you do.. Sasuke couldn’t have put Naruto and Sakura in the genjutsu. Both of them are effectively immune to all genjutsu except for stuff like omnipotence. And now there’s no one to get Tsunade over her hemaphobia because Orochimaru isn’t going to go after her. Gara wouldn’t just get “talk no Jutsued”. It took an incredible emotional and impactful battle to do that. Sakura would’ve just destroy gara no need for 100 healings. Again Naruto would’ve just destroyed Sakura even in base. Base adult Naruto swapped hands with fused momoshiki. Making hiruzen step down for “mistakes” that everyone on team 7 already got over is just stupid. Sasuke’s entire plan makes no sense. Adult Sasuke and Naruto would’ve never gotten into a childish scrap like this. Their relationship grew past any divides like that. The entire plot of this what if is extremely forced and disappointing. It doesn’t even feel like YOU Wrote it. There’s absolutely 0 attention to character detail or power scaling. It doesn’t seem like you took absolutely any political detail in. You wiped away character growth and made an extremely subpar what if. And again, Sasuke wouldn’t have left Sakura for OROCHIMARU. After coming back from his Otsotsuki hunt Sasuke and Sakura became closer than ever before. He isn’t leaving her to “keep the time line intact”. This is just disappointing from you Amagi.
As tough it is to admit as i like Amagi's what ifs a lot, but i do agree with all of your points I was wondering the same stuff while watching this and yes this doesn't feel like the best course of action None of the characters are gonna make such decisions and everything seems out of place. I do understand that he's trying to insert conflict in order to make the story a little bit longer otherwise its gonna be a cake walk for Team 7 till the Boruto era and they can just resolve almost everything other than world peace in like 1 video Overall its a nice try but this what if scenario could have been much much better without having to make such out of place decisions just for the sake of story and timeline stuff.

Im only half way through the video at the moment and had the same complaints like sakura knows she can do the surgery and Naruto would not want to kill orichimaru. I dont even think Naruto would let rock lee get that injured to begin with i 100% think he would give some warning to lee or even sacrifice his own spot in the chunin exams as he knows he doesn’t become one anyway and doesn’t need to be one either.

Your first mistake. Kurama would immediately take Naruto over and kill Sasuke if he were to use Genjutsu on them. I don't care how close Sasuke and Kurama are. If he used Genjutsu, especially with the Mangekyou, on his kit, Kurama would eviscerate Sasuke before he had a chance to defend himself.

Naruto wouldnt advice killing Orichimaru, Naruto as the Hokage actually hidden Orichimaru away to act as the shadow hokage. He knows that Orochimaru can benefit the world, and killing him would make sure his sons best friend Mitski never exists. He would just bring Orochimaru into the fold, explain the situation, get him a white Zetsu so he stops body jumping and likely put him to work to deal with the future Alien invasion.

His plan was to kill him now to prevent the Konoha Invasion and Hiruzen’s death,and then for Sasuke to revive Orochimaru later using Anko’s curse mark like in the og timeline.

Come on Amagi, Sakura is the worlds greatest medic Ninja, not only would she know he's ok, she would likely know the exact moment he's gonna wake up. She could probably remove the curse mark at this point. She had all of Konoha's secret intel on it.
I'm disappointed because the OG show, was a bit misogynistic in its female writing early on, only getting into Boruto has it gotten better. You should let Sakura flex where she is good. Not just the boys. Do better Amagi!
This I get because it feels like the characters are less themselves and more personifications of the Time Travel ARgument what should be changed and what shouldn't and Sakura and Kakashi are just left as neutral almost parties with no dreams or desires.

The Amagi is probably the only fanfic/what-if channel that isn’t utter garbage. Still could work a bit more to make the stories more immersive, but it’s quite good anyway.

I would love this, especially if part of the story is her actually giving Sasuke the mental health evaluation. He’s needed for years and then getting him the mental health. Or preferably in my personal opinion who are you pretty much metaphorically beating sakura’s obsession with Sasuke out of her so we get a good Naruto Sakura story, but my first idea makes a lot more sense.

I haven’t finished yet, but this entire “kill or don’t kill Orochimaru/hiruzen” conflict makes no sense. There’s no world where Naruto would want to kill Orochimaru.. 😭 Naruto is literally the one who set boruto and mitsuki on the same team to make them best friends. He’s the one who pushed for orochimaru’s pardon.. like Jit trippin bro.
More importantly Sasuke wouldn’t want hiruzen gone.. by the time Sasuke grew up as an adult he understood hiruzen and the elders. If anything Sasuke would Trust an unwavering old man like hiruzen over Tsunade. And again, hiruzen didn’t fail in the 1st and 2nd SWW. All we’ve been told is that he left error for the 3rd SWW to start. Which is implied to be him sparing the tsuchikage and the stone village. Hiruzen also didn’t fail the hyuga incident. Hiruzen was about to Goto war with the Hidden cloud until hiashi volunteered to stop the war. Hiruzen left it up to the hyuga to decide. Which if anything was the best option. After the entire leaf village and most of their shinobi had just been killed/decimated from the nine tails.
He didn’t fail the Uchiha massecre either. Hiruzen was the only one on either side who tried to remedy a peace treaty. And despite that the Uchiha tried to commit Bloody treason. And even after that it was Obito, itachi and Danzo who pulled off the massecre. Hiruzen didn’t order it. Itachi and Danzo Are both more to blame than hiruzen is.
And my brother.. they don’t need Tsunade to save rock Lee.. Sakura being sent back too was a major part of this timeline. She’s already a better medical ninja than Tsunade. This entire conflict feels EXTREMELY Forced. And it doesn’t make sense from absolutely any of the character perspectives.
The original what if Naruto got sent back seemed much more realistic. Keying hiruzen in on what happened so they can work with him made SO Much more sense.

Edit: just finished and Bro what the heck. this is the worst what if I’ve ever seen you do.. Sasuke couldn’t have put Naruto and Sakura in the genjutsu. Both of them are effectively immune to all genjutsu except for stuff like omnipotence.
And now there’s no one to get Tsunade over her hemaphobia because Orochimaru isn’t going to go after her. Gara wouldn’t just get “talk no Jutsued”. It took an incredible emotional and impactful battle to do that.
Sakura would’ve just destroy gara no need for 100 healings. Again Naruto would’ve just destroyed Sakura even in base. Base adult Naruto swapped hands with fused momoshiki.
Making hiruzen step down for “mistakes” that everyone on team 7 already got over is just stupid. Sasuke’s entire plan makes no sense. Adult Sasuke and Naruto would’ve never gotten into a childish scrap like this. Their relationship grew past any divides like that.
The entire plot of this what if is extremely forced and disappointing. It doesn’t even feel like YOU Wrote it. There’s absolutely 0 attention to character detail or power scaling. It doesn’t seem like you took absolutely any political detail in. You wiped away character growth and made an extremely subpar what if. And again, Sasuke wouldn’t have left Sakura for OROCHIMARU. After coming back from his Otsotsuki hunt Sasuke and Sakura became closer than ever before. He isn’t leaving her to “keep the time line intact”.
This is just disappointing from you Amagi.
As tough it is to admit as i like Amagi's what ifs a lot, but i do agree with all of your points

None of the characters are gonna make such decisions and everything seems out of place.
I do understand that he's trying to insert conflict in order to make the story a little bit longer otherwise its gonna be a cake walk for Team 7 till the Boruto era and they can just resolve almost everything other than world peace in like 1 video
Overall its a nice try but this what if scenario could have been much much better without having to make such out of place decisions just for the sake of story and timeline stuff.

Im only half way through the video at the moment and had the same complaints like sakura knows she can do the surgery and Naruto would not want to kill orichimaru. I dont even think Naruto would let rock lee get that injured to begin with i 100% think he would give some warning to lee or even sacrifice his own spot in the chunin exams as he knows he doesn’t become one anyway and doesn’t need to be one either.

I feel like they are sometimes so lacking in divergence from Canon that they fail to realize these things sometimes and almost try to force in as many Canon moments or parallels as possible.

Wait, naruto is immune to genjutsu cause kurama could just interrupt his chakra network. Sakura's chakra control is so precise that she is also immune to genjutsu cause she can disrupt her own the moment its interfered with. She does this in her novel. PLOT HOLE FOUND
Also they don't need tsunade to heal Lee cuz they have sakura who's a better medic than tsunade but amagi forgot 🙂

Your first mistake. Kurama would immediately take Naruto over and kill Sasuke if he were to use Genjutsu on them. I don't care how close Sasuke and Kurama are. If he used Genjutsu, especially with the Mangekyou, on his kit, Kurama would eviscerate Sasuke before he had a chance to defend himself.
