I recommend Selena's "No Me Queda Mas" music video. The live version from the Astrodome is fine, but the music video, I think, is truly spectacular and a change of scenery. It is hard to convey the intensity and scope of the emotion felt by the Latino communities and so many non-Latinos in the United States when Selena was killed. She was not as well known outside the Spanish-language world as Princess Diana was, but the emotions of Selena's fans (I among them) were every bit as strong as those who loved Princess Diana. Selena's shooting, like Princess Diana's car accident, is one of those very few news events in a lifetime that forever beg the question, "Where were you when you heard...?" Two young women from two different cultures, but both could touch the heart equally and permanently.
The crazy this about this concert is that the stage is spinning around and Selena is not wearing an ear piece to hear herself!
