I feel the same way,dad passed when he was 34 I’m now 38 and don’t feel like I’m on the same level he was. R.I.P to all the loved ones that have unfortunately left us to early
Ryan Sickler you have helped me with my job as a medical coder! I've learned all about Factor V Leiden. (i'd heard of it and code it before but never really understood what it was) I just had to code one that had that and chronic dvt and history of PE's. I shared your story with my coworker so she can understand the logistics too. Anyway, off the topic. One day when you are closer to Shreveport, LA, I'm definitely coming!
Gaffigan's kids were kicking sand on my friend Fred's father on the beach in Jamaica years ago. Jim thoroughly apologized and Big Fred and him had a bite to eat and shot the shit. For this I will always like Gaffigan. Stand up, respectful, and a responsible parent. Good things.
Yes he has mentioned at the beginning of some of his videos that hes taken out of the algorithm due to the content on his podcast...a lot of The topics discussed are "controversial" and flagged by TH-cam which is a shame.
i feel like this show gets a lot more audio listeners than some other podcasts (because there's really no visual elements) so the TH-cam numbers look low in comparison.
Happy Toozdee y'all! Just a friendly reminder that's it's 100% okay to not be okay. Always remember your life and voice do matter and someone out there cares. This Momma loves you so much and I'm so proud of all you're doing even if it was just getting out of bed today. You did it! Be safe and stay well my Honeydew family. 💚
I really enjoyed this episode (I love this podcast but this episode was exceptionally good). It's so nice to hear Gaffigan talk so candidly, and not cracking so many jokes. I've read his book (really funny) but this was just such a pure, honest conversation between Sickler and Gaffigan. Really enjoyed it.
Love you Ryan! Lost my dad unexpectedly a couple years ago to a fentanyl overdose so I appreciate you (and Jim) spreading the word about drugs and I appreciate you always highlighting the guest's parent's death even though it's tough to listen to sometimes. I always learn something new that helps me heal. Oh and the trick to pronouncing it correctly is to over-enunciate the "T" and make sure it's 3 full syllables. You can say fint-a-nil or fint-a-nul, just not fin-noll lol
I first remember seeing him in super troopers. Always wanted to know about him bc he was always that guy that's everywhere. I have a lot of specials to catch up on. Love it.
I'm from Portage In, and Jim is our national treasure. He gives all the "Region Rats" hope.... Thank you Jim for representing us in a good light. Thank you Ryan for being the voice of all of us little people.
Hi nightpants family! We made it yet again to another Tooesdey! I spent my first night alone in the house without the wife and kids. Man I never thought this would be my life. We are doing a 50/50 thing so I'll get them soon but man it was hard and I'm fucking sad!
Love the Pod....Love Sicky & Gaffy! Also........If anyone hasnt seen Gaffigan in the movie "American Dreamer"....watch it! It's reallly a good movie.....an awesome, gripping, dark comedy.
Im a former alcoholic in recovery. 36 female and going on 2 years sober. I’m was an absolute mess. It’s so strange for me to hear people talk about 3-4 drinks being a lot. I wish I had been able to control myself at 3-4 drinks a night, maybe life wouldn’t have turned out like it has. 3 drinks max is the ideal but I never knew when to quit, and I probably never will be able to be a 3 drink max type drinker. I wish, but I know the type of person I am. I’m having to rebuild my entire life from the bottom up at 36, and it’s hard.
I live and grew up in the Michigan town that chicago people (FIP’S) had 2nd homes and his analogy on NWI is spot on! Btw Ryan, your hair and skin look incredible in this video.
"My father would have 3-4 drinks a night, minimum. That generation knew how to put em away." While that may be true, that's still happening and in a lot of cases, it's worse today.
Aweeee Man my mother died of ovarian cancer when I was 16. Damn Man my mom was 45. I'm 37 now and my wife is 4-5 years older than me I think about that shit now and again

Jim’s views on weed pens was lunacy
Straight up
TH-cam has gotta be deprioritizing this guy. Too good not to be blown tf up

I think we need YMH Studios to pick up Honeydew so it gets the exposure it deserves
@@ComradeCooperyou know the honeydew was originally at YMH?

That was really sad. “I’ll never feel older than my dad”. I can’t imagine losing a parent this young in life. Love you Ryan! ❤

That was therapeutic. I appreciate their points of view and I find it helpful.
"Did you ever get any one-on-one time? There was a six of 'ya." I know Sickler is being sincere, but that made me laugh too hard.

I’ve never stopped missing them, but it does get better. The hard edges soften, and it becomes more bearable as time goes on. You’ll get through this.

Relatable for sure. Some parents care to much and some don't care at all. My kid loses friends all the time over that. Sucks being a parent sometimes.
Honey dew it baby. Great podcast with Jim G.

Not fun or a fact. I have popcorn lungs from vaping lmao
No you don't but if you do have some sort of illness from vaping that sucks and I hope you get better soon
"Guys in Nantucket pink pants going at it ..." Ha!

Uh oh, orange man indicted for Rico charges
When it arraigns it pours
I'd love to see him do a "dark" hour special
For sure, dude! I bet he looks totally different in black face
1:00:18 a doctor told me a few days ago about how they're seeing 20 year olds with worse lungs than 50 year old smokers.

I'm not gonna lie, I like the old set

Lol I heard that hitler joke as a kid and the clowns were “ 10,000 acrobats” and I think it’s better that way
Well that was nice.
1:00:30 what does he mean "they told me I can have cannabis but no THC?" Cannabis is THC.
CBD
@@A.M.intheAMAh, I see. But I think THC with CBD in an edible would still be good for him and not make him cough. He just can't smoke it.
NW Indiana sounds just like Jackson MI 😅
Ironic, Michael JACKSON was born in Gary Indian lol.
I looked. His hair literally looks better in the special than it does here... Lol
Pass.😊
