Steve jobs😢😢😢
University Ave is such a dead zone now. Zero reason to go there. Now swarming with Sand Hill Road VC locusts or the wannabes.
Hands up everyone who remembers the fantastic all you can eat salad bar at the Good Earth Restaurant. Then go browse the new books in Stacys or the Stanford University Bookstore Annex. Back when the Stanford Bookstore was the best academic bookstore in the world bar none. Now it basically just sells sweatshirts. Then sit outside The Prolific Oven on Waverly drinking coffee and eating one of their amazing pastries, cookies or a slice of cake. Best chocolate cake ever. And then just wander around window shopping at the huge range of shops block after block (almost all gone) as you meander back to your car parked on Forrest or Lytton.
Bell's Books is still there on Emerson but University Ave is now just as nondescript, bland and boring as Telegraph Ave in Berkeley. Glad I got to see and enjoy old Palo Alto while it was still around. Mostly gone by 2010. All gone now. Today University Ave just an outdoor clone of the Stanford Shopping Center. That bad.
It's sad to hear that University Ave has lost its charm. It sounds like it was an amazing place back in the day. Thanks for sharing those memories.
EASY WITH THAT CAMERA!!!!!!!!!!!!!😡😡😡😡😡😡

You move the camera too much and too fast, it makes me sick.
Try setting the video speed to 0.75X, it might help
