      For Manulife iFunds, do you choose 'I want to be service by an advisor' or 'I want to self manage'? Is there a difference in management fee or any sort of fees? I cant find the info in their website so wondering if you know.

    Awesome inputs in all your videos. :)
    BTW, can you make a video on taxation related to investments? Because, some says investments & trading are still taxable and some says its only partially true (If your investment & withdrawals are done smartly). As a beginner, I'm a little bit confused. When an individual make more money on investments & trading, he or she also loses a huge percentage of money in terms of taxes. Right? So, what's your advice on this?

    • @kees0913.
      @kees0913. 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Well as an insurance agent, all investment for insurance is just additional benefits. If u need the life insurance then u shall have life insurance. The investment portion is just additional add-on where it provide chances for u to gain back the money u put into the insurance policy something like break even or have some savings by the end of the policy.
      If u really want to judge a life insurance policy from an investment perspective. The only interpretation is that maybe u pay somewhere like 20k in total premium to get a coverage of 500k. In case the claim is done then ur dependent will get an investment return of 2500%

    • @brandonboey9066

      Hey August, I'm an insurance advisor myself and I would love to help you more on this particular issue. Firstly, do you have the policy with you(it could be hardcopy or softcopy)? If yes then you will see directly how much you are predicted to earn in the next 30 years thus making it clearer for you and your goals. If you don't have it, you could just call up the company's customer service to clarify or even ask your agent about it. If the agent is not there to service you anymore then I would love to help you review your savings plan. Do let me know if you need my hell or further clarification :)

    What investment vehicle would you suggest if I have saved up 11 years of salary into FD and is now new to investing beyond FD? Feels like I have to play "catch-up" now.
    Had to save in FD initially because of some commitments at home that require very liquid funds and capital guaranteed. Now it's time to increase my risk appetite and I have to get sufficient returns to buy a second property in the next 5-10 years.
