      Hii! I'm glad I was able to inspire you!!
      For the physical past papers I just used the ones the school gave and for the pdfs, I used the website called "edupaperstore". For the self-study time, I approximately studied around 3 hours at the start of the semester but near the finals, I studied the whole day. What I mean is I just study, take a break, and then study again on loop.
      For amaths tips, I actually wrote a post on Facebook so you can check it out there! My facebook page is "Heather's journal". For the university, I'm still not quite sure yet so still thinking about it~
      I hope these help!

    Hii , I wanna take your advice on this so basically i took ICT this year but i still didnt take the exam, honestly I loved ICT and a lot of ppl say that CS is harder and some say its easier. I wanna take CS but i am scared since it depends on programming.

    • @itsonlyheather
      @itsonlyheather  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      OOh I see! I actually talked about it in this video at 2:58 but I haven't taken ICT before so I'm not sure but my friends who've taken both of them say that CS is easier. For ICT you have to memorize a lot more than CS but CS is not as hard to memorize compared to ICT I heard. But you do have to write codes for CS.

      @@Marlo69860 I did memorize everything but I think input/output devices are not that necessary to learn for definitions.

    Geuine Inquiry! i hope you can help me with this🙏🏻
    How does one start on pursuing Igcse?
    How long does it really take on average to finally have a diploma of their own? is it within a span of 2-8 months or years even?
    and lastly how much is the estimate sum total the covers all the expenses of the courses you have to take? ( in kyats )
    i have googled most but the response are vaired, so i figured anecdotes are much safer to take at face-value

    • @itsonlyheather

      Hello!
      For the first question, I would say you first enroll in a school for it or you could attend classes from individual tutors but I don't really recommend self studying.
      Everyone is different but for me, it took 1 years and a half to finish O levels. And another thing is IGCSE O level isn't exactly a diploma, it's just a certificate for finishing secondary education in this case. Some people may also take 2 years to finish preparing for O levels finals.
      The estimate cost would be around 15000000 in kyats (thein 150) if you add the exam fees too but it varies depending on how many subjects you take and the school you goes to.
      I hope this answered your questions!

    I'm also 15 and I joined O Level course in EGI like a week ago. I missed the first week of the course cuz of personal problems. But anyways, I would like your advice on this. The subjects I'm taking rn are:
    ESL
    Maths B
    Chemistry
    Physics
    Business
    ICT
    Chemistry is a bit more difficult for me to catch up on since I missed a week of lecture. It's been a bit confusing and really hard for me. Personally, I would like to replace Chem with another subject. I am more interested in technology, so I also want to take up CS alongside with ICT. I kinda wanna remove Chem and replace it with any other subject really. I'm good at English but I'm weaker on the Maths part. I either wanna replace Chem with CS or A Maths. I would like your opinion on this. Like if Chem is essenti or not, will it be ok if it replace it?

    • @itsonlyheather
      @itsonlyheather  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hello! So the subjects actually depend on which career you want to go. But I think a maths is best to take regardless of your career choice. A maths is sort of essential if you want to do well in university even if you're not getting a career where maths is involved. So I advise taking amaths.
      For chemistry, you won't need it if you don't plan on getting a career in bio, or chemistry so you couldn replace it if that's the case.
      I'm not sure if you want to take up CS or not but if possible you should absolutely take up amaths.
      Hope this helped!

    • @itsonlyheather
      @itsonlyheather  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I'm glad you found it helpful! In my opinion, a month should be enough to get A* if you did a lot of past papers already while you were doing your IGCSE and studied regularly. However, I advise you to try doing a past paper (timed) and see how much marks you get. Based on that, you can see if you're doing well or not and you can emphasize more on CS if you didn't get the marks you want~
      Hope this helped!
