I miss this soundtrack! Reminds of the times I went Alton towers in the period of 2005 - 2010. So magical back in those days. Wish I never moved further away from the towers :(
I literally live next to Staffordshire, I live in Nottingham and once I actually went on holiday for a week in Staffordshire and we were honestly right around the corner from the towers!
Alton Towers is one of the most popular theme parks in the UK and also has got some of the best ever roller coasters in Europe including Nemesis, Air and Oblivion. It's located up in Staffordshire in the West Midlands in Northern England around, 156 miles from London. It seems pretty far away from London but it's worth it if you're planning about going there. It's my favourite theme park after going to the Disney Theme Parks in Orlando (Once) and Paris (4 times) years ago.
A quick explanation? well, this is gonna be hard......it's my favourite place on earth. very british, great roller coasters(especially Nemesis!), with hotels, a spa, waterpark and golf course. it's huge place, but most of all, the best fun-associated atmosphere of anywhere in britain.
This was way better than IMAScores monstrosity in my opinion. They made amazing soundtracks for The Smiler and Galactica but they messed up on the most important soundtrack of all. The old one actually sounds "Magical"
Ben Ayre The new soundtrack has a bit of a remixed bit of the old soundtrack plus the old music can now e heard around fountain square and outside the gardens :)
Kieran The IMAscore tracks are a massive upgrade in my opinion. The new towers street soundtrack welcomes you with magic and brightness, setting the mood for your day ahead. The heritage soundtrack is just utterly brilliant, if you listen to the full 30 minutes of heritage, you’ll love it, especially the part where it gets slow and calm.
The nearest Theme Park to London is Thorpe Park which is near a town called Staines Upon Thames in Surrey. It's around 13 miles from London (around the same distance to Heathrow Airport from the city of London). The Theme Park is south of Heathrow Airport so you will see planes fly over the Theme Park when they take-off from the Airport in a westerly direction which is cool.
I looove the old towers Street music with the Toyland Tours, Peter rabbit ice show and haunted house segments. I listen to it all the time :) I wanna get this new theme to listen to on my ipod as well though as it seems almost as good. I just don't like the new version they have done of 'Hall of the mountain king'; it sounds all cheesy and strange. I wish they would play the original piece like they used to; it was much more magical. :)

This is so superior compared to Imascore, they do good ride tracks but entrance theme's NO!

The old towers street music was so much better and unforgettable I don't like this one at all.
This song? Forgettable? This song's as forgettable as Happy, it's amazing.
I keep on forgetting the other one but this one almost never leaves my memory. Plus they have a new one for this year by IMAscore.

it's amazing how such a high budget theme park has such low budget music. the composition is good enough but the sounds used are quite cheap sounding.
