Best size upgread for stock wheels 👍. I am planning to go for 235/75 r15 geolandar AT-LT with 15in 7j American racing light weight alloys and 2 inch lift. It will give 3 to 3.5inch extra ground clearance and 2.5 inch track width. Also going to increase with width of fender by 20mm it will give wide fender look.
Yes if you are lifting then 235 looks awesome on stock Jimny 235 is something which touches on plastic area that's why I did not install that and went for 215.
Changing tyres affects performance... More weight less mileage and more road noise in cabin. And steering also becomes more heavier. Think twice before modifications.
Stocks tyre mujse Haldwani me 2600 me liya per tyre...total 13000 for all tyre and after exchange new tyre cost me 29500.. Yokohama geloander AT LT 215 /75/R15
Continental Polymide use karta hai instead of Silica Compounding! And Yokohama Earth 1 and Blu-Earth hai Silicon based tyres Geolander ka no idea! baaki Yokohama tyres are noisy despite of being Silicon based like Michelin and Bridgestone. Baaki LT tyre lagane se load capacity badd jaati hai and down point gaadi ka drag badd jayega due to 2 Extra Plies instead of regular 4 Ply, adding extra weight to the overall tyre! So choose wisely instead of relying on half cooked TH-cam Videos! Secondly jitna width badaoge utna steering wheel me issue aane lagenge like Steering wheel automatically falling to right side and if you complain this to Maruti, they will ask you to first install the original tyre size of vehicle, even after which if the problem persists then they will acknowledge it otherwise aap ladte rahe unse in short aapka overall experience will be ruined. Aaj hee eek customer mere paas aya for the same problem and was told the same by nearest Maruti Workshop.
I have two more recommendations for you. First, upgrade the headlights for improved visibility. Second, get a stage two remap to boost performance and it will also improve the average.
Yes will go for headlight later, but regarding Remap I am doubtful as it will impact warranty but will do more research on remap. Thank you Anirudh for the suggestion 🙂

Hello Bhai ji, I tried 235 Yokohama but somehow it was touching the rubber part in front so to avoid that I went for 215. Vaise 235 looks big and bulky but this one 215 AT LT also give a decent look to Jimny
Please tell tyre pressure for this change. Should we go as per stock tyres or some change ?

Not much difference, yes the tyre sound is which you can hear in cabin now, also I got the highway mileage of around 12.75 km/litr recently

I exchanged to the new one , per tyre 2600....and new one 8500 per tyre

Bhai sahab yokohama ke tyres ki sidewall weak hai tyre burst ke kaafi cases hain aur tyre zarurat se zyada soft hain. I would recommend maxxis tyre.
