- Even as an old man, Daniel listened to God and sought His face as he tried to understand the ongoing conflicts in the world. The fearful, frail prophet, still faithful to his Lord, was shown that earthly struggles reflect a greater conflict in the heavenly realms. In this message, Alistair Begg challenges us to follow Daniel’s example by remaining faithful to God’s kingdom purposes as long as He gives us life, realizing we may not see the outcome until we see Him in glory.

Today is August 28 2020: Without my faith in and reliance on God I could never carry on during this which is going on today in this wretched world. Am I surprised at what is happening today? No. Why? Praise God for His Word! Without His Truth which is found in Christ Jesus who is The Way, The Truth, and The Life, our wonderful Savior, I would tremble and be so afraid. What a loving Creator! He gives us all the information we need and it is found in His Word - the Bible. Colossians 3:1-4 keeps me focused.
Thank you for teaching difficult sections, scriptures, and topics. Sometimes the hardest thing to understand, can be the most important. Salvation is of Jesus Christ and him alone.

Thank you for this sermon. For some reason I wanted to have an understanding of the spiritual realm that is taking place behind the scenes. It seems like this is where so many bad thoughts may actually stem from. These evil spirits make us think it is our own thoughts when it is likely all too often them because they want us to feel guilty and unworthy so this way we will just give in and live in sin and be miserable. What a mockery unto Jesus Christ who literally was tortured and died so that if we only ask him to forgive us of our transgressions he will indeed do it! How terrible not to ask for forgiveness of our sins. Is not Jesus worthy? Indeed he is....indeed he is. Thank you Lord Jesus for your unconditional love and mercy! Amen!!!

LIsten to Alistair, evil is using people to do battle against those who wish to live in peace with each other. Constant bombardment from the Enemy is to be found everywhere and the sooner you understand and realize this, the sooner you will know how to put on the whole armor of God and be prepared for this daily battle. Those who follow Christ are especially hated by the evil one.

Amen and AMEN. How can we be expected to properly conduct ourselves in this fallen world without the basic realization of exactly who the enemies are and how Satan, with his spiritual hierarchy and human minions, conduct their strategies against us?
I hope the day might come and I may meet Alistair Begg in person! I am unable to find The message of Jesus being preached in my fellowship or any other fellowship in my city. In all that I carry because of my cross God allows me to have to deal with I can find no men of God able to encourage me with Gods truth, because our churches are no longer trusting in Jesus Christ. The return of Christ may not be a long way off!!
