Something cool about those framelock militaws is that the inlays make a shield over the lock side so it becomes what I would call probably one of the most comfortable frame locks I have used, especially when opening it and when bearing down and gripping the knife hard because theres a much lower chance of accidentally depressing the lock bar. Its especially noticable on the mini framelock variants and I love it.
I actually observed that gripping the larger frame lock and having any sort of twisting motion to the finger can accidentally disengage it. With the liner lock I have witnessed more protection from accidental closure since it's shielded by the frame at the side of the liner...
