Darla’s ploy to keep Rick out of Amber’s life fails miserably. Amber breaks off her engagement to C.J. because she is in love with Rick. Rick and Amber make love.

At first I thought, wow Brooke's actually showing concern for her son but then I realized it was _Darla_ visiting Rick.
Brooke is busy busting it wide open for his half-brother she has no time for sweet Valley high drama 😂
Brooke almost forgot Rick existed til he showed up at her office door yesterday 😂
Yet Brooke is such a good mother. Brooke couldn’t stand Amber yet Brooke was so self centered that she couldn’t be bothered with Rick. Rick wouldn’t had probably went after Amber if he came from a stable family.

Tired of Morgan blaming Stephanie after the stunts she pulled on Ridge and Clarke. Can't wait for her to find out she lost the baby. She deserves to be miserable.
Even if she thinks Steph did something to her all those years ago (which Steph didn't), she can't keep blaming Steph for her lack of taking responsibility for her mental health over the years

Shame on you, Rick! You really learn that from your mother. You take Amber as a hungry prize without considering how hurt is CJ is going be when she dumps him. The poor guy has already been through enough in the past year, and he truly deserves better. PLUS: He was your best friend!

I'm talking about righ now, CJ must be out of his mind and totally blind if he didn't see that Rick and Amber were becoming a thing again. And he could have not cared less, as long as he WON. That's what all this was for him from the start. He just wanted to WIN over a Forrester.
I was pleasantly surprised that in real life CJ and Darla are married. I believe they married a year after this was aired and are married to this day. How sweet!

@@annieo6527 What's amazing is how much Stephanie's narration has been confirmed. She said that CJ and Amber were just two lonely people reaching for each other after Becky's death (which is what Amber says here), she said that Amber never stopped loving Rick (which Amber says here) and she questioned whether CJ's interest in the baby was more about getting Amber and competing with Rick which is what it seems like now because CJ isn't even hung up on the fact that the baby is with Deacon - he only mentions the custody issue once here _to entice Amber to stay with him._
This was the last time we saw CJ until a year and a half later, but even though he’ll be back, they should have given him a proper send off

She‘s 16 years older than him. While this is nothing that‘s unusal nowadays, this pairing caught me off-track when I found out about it, because Darla was always like a sister to Macy and C.J. But I am happy they found love in each other

I really do like CJ but he is not the saint that a lot of people here are making him out to be. When Amber did as she was told he love bombed her and made their relationship out to be so much more than it was and when she didn't, he shouted, got irrationally angry and threatened to leave. Bringing the wedding forward was a highly manipulative move and it simply wasn't a healthy relationship. Had Sally not been lost in her own grief and desperate for CJ to be okay, I think she would have seen that. I absolutely think Amber would have been happier with the Spectra's but that is not a reason to continue to pretend to be in love with CJ. I can't stand Rick. He only decided he wanted Amber when she started to move on and he is a spoiled, selfish brat who can't handle not getting his own way. However, now that Deacon has the baby, Amber is finally in a position to make a choice and she has chosen Rick. For what it is worth, I don't think either Rick or CJ really love Amber. They are both confusing their love for the baby with their feelings for Amber, mainly because neither of them are capable of raising the baby alone. However, that is also not a reason for Amber to continue to pretend to be in love with CJ. She had to end it.

I never thought of CJ as a saint, but I'd choose him over Rick any day! But that's also because Mick Cain portrayed him fantastically! I agree with the rest though😊
It is difficult to buy that a 17 year old would be so broken up about a baby

Although, I never was fond of CJ I do believe if his attitude wasn't so hostile all the time he would have had a better chance! He was horrible from the beginning, when Stephanie only suggested to fix up the apartment, when they moved into the Forrester home and they were being very kind in my opinion, and he should have been happy if the baby was getting swimming lessons, etc. He was horrible and very hostile, and immature. Also, forcing himself to be called daddy was really weird to me!
