- We’ve all been there during 1st or 2nd year-STEP 1 is looming above our heads and we need to figure out the most effective way to ace it. By the end of this episode you will have a realistic framework for 1) all of the resources I used to pass step 1, 2) exactly how long it will take you, and how many hours per day you need to study, and 3) How to time your practice tests and review them.

Super helpful content👍
Thank you! Glad it is helpful.
Thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching!
Really helpful
Thank you!
Love the channel! It seems that your curriculum is similar to mine, where we take Step 1 after clinical rotations. If you did Anking, did you keep doing Step 1 cards during rotation or only focused on them during dedicated? It seems like it’ll be overwhelming to do Anking cards during clinical rotations
Thanks for the kind words! I did not do any STEP 1 anking during my rotations, or even before my rotations. You will have to study hard for your shelf exams, so you should do anki that is relevant to the shelves (STEP 2 material). Anking in general was not very helpful, I made most of my own cards. Hope this advice helps.
It did. Thank you!!
Hi there!
Thank you for this very informative video.
Btw I was wondering why you did free 120 2022 as opposed to free 120 2024?
Hello! Please correct me if I am wrong, but I believe the "2024" was last updated in 2022, which is why I put it!
@@Navigatingmedicalschool oh okay, I wasn’t aware of this but that makes sense. Thank you!
What about first aid
And how much of uworld did you get done with
Thank you for sharing!
I finished all of UWorld. I did not use First aid at all for step 1. Hope this answers your questions!
thanks for sharing.
btw which anki deck you used for your preparation?
I made my own anki cards from questions I got wrong from Uworld! Usually I will make anki cards from the "learning objective" at the bottom of each UW explanation + a card from any graphic or table they include
