I love matthew perry as a person, I loved his character, humor and acting so much in movies n television...
I’ve never been more affected by a celebrity death than this one. This one hurts, and it will hurt for a long time, possibly forever. If only he truly knew the impact he had on so many people. He laughed so hard, and struggled so much. Be free, Matthew. We know you’re up there putting everyone in hysterics. We’d expect nothing less ♥️

He was a junkie…you’re sad because a fictional character that hasn’t been written for decades is not going to appear again. Neither were the other friends lol. Celebrity idolism is such a disease in the west. It literally explains everything wrong with Americas education system. Actors who play dress up and take drugs are idolized more than people who actually accomplish things.

They usually have a run down of what questions will be asked before hand. So matthew was fine with being questioned about the alcoholism... probably more beneficial for him.
Matthew Perry can be PAINFULLY open about his former addictions.
He even told a very personal, explicit story at the white house(!) where he received a price for his work for "drug courts".
I mean - it's an obvious question in relation to his play 🤷♀️
Matty was 1 in a million. Not just a comedic genius but also a warm & loving human that just wanted to make us all,laugh & love one another. He will be missed so much around the world & we are all better people for being blessed with his short time on this earth. God speed Matty 🤍🩵💙
I didn't think much of his acting 'skills' and I didn't know him personally to find out anything regarding his personality
I went to the recording of this. In one of the breaks alan was getting his make up done and I yelled out " you look gorgeous alan" he says in that fabulous voice of his " ooooh thanks love". Matthew Perry then says " what about me?" I remained quiet but my friend yelled out " you are gorgeous too!" Hilarious!
Yes he's aged. Duuhhhhh. Friends started 24 years ago. If you started watching it then, I expect you've lost your youthful good looks too! He is a little overweight but aside from that, and like the rest of the cast, he doesn't look 20 anymore - this is the ageing process. Better accept now, if it hasn't already, this is gonna happen to you too. If you are really lucky, when you get to Matthews age, you'll be 1% as funny and interesting.

I felt so bad for him when the host HAD to bring up his alcohol addiction.
He was there to promote a play he himself had written… a play about alcoholism! So of course they talked about Matthew’s own problems.
And the questions in these kinds of interviews are always agreed upon beforehand.

Matthew Martin chatty man is a very light hearted show. They hardly ever touch serious matters in the show. He's been trough quite a lot because of alcohol. I'm sure he did not see this coming much like I didn't.
They do a run through of the questions in a rehearsal. Perry would have given the okay for the questions beforehand.

Yeah! So unprofessional on the host's part. I was seeing flashbacks to Robert Downey Jr just leaving an interview after a dumbass question out of nowhere about his addictions. We don't really need to go ahead and upset the guest just for 'ratings'. That's why I always like Graham Norton. He might ask personal questions but he's being genuine and sensitive when doing so.
