I'll take I'll take your comment as a compliment And not to mean that my cooking techniques and ideas are laughable, Cooking is all about taking different ideas from different people and different ingredients in combining them together in new and unique ways to make a taste sensation Whether or not it's good or not it's new and it's different You have a great day.

I made a slight mistake while recreating this tuna melt. (Delicious, by the way.) I got carried away, while making this and added a little bit too much of the dressing to the tuna mixture. It became slightly loose and not as in tact as in the video. Not to worry, I had another can of tuna and extra veggies to make a slightly larger batch. So delicious. Oh my 🎉🎉 The delicious leftover dressing will be added to a smash-burger and breakfast egg BLT for the following days. 👍👍

    Nice... Thanks!
I find pickles missing (although the capers do something like that to the Tuna salad) but this IS a very rich (ah, filthy-rich?) sandwich.
To my taste, a different bread (sour-dough, a little more elastic with bigger holes) with almost no butter, and the tiniest crust under the broiler would be preferable, because your byte doesn't cut through it like it was cake -- rather you need to chew on the bread, and by the way, also enjoy more the taste of the salad that stays in your mouth longer.
But that, of course, is a matter of preference - and there's honored place for both styles...
Thanks for yet another mouth-watering video Chef!

The salad is similar to the one i learnt to make from the chefs at my workplace (i technically don't have to, but i help them prep often)
It's usually based on 2 cans of tuna in oil, about half to 3/4 gold reinet apple, about a whole large pickle, a bit of parsley, deep fried capers and mayo and a slight amount of ketchup and sweet chili sauce
    Really wonderful stuff

When I made the dressing and tasted it, by itself, I wasn’t too crazy about it; there was some strong flavor I didn’t care for. Probably something I put too much of, who knows.
However, with great faith in my favorite chef I proceeded. Sure enough, it was excellent once mixed in with the other ingredients!
I used canned white meat chicken from Sam’s, because that’s what I had on hand & needed to use it anyway.
    It was delicious.

Gotta say, I like your version of a Tuna melt better than the one I grew up with! I gotta try this...

Maître, it's always a pleasure to watch you doing your "Magic".
Many thanks for the inspirations you give;)!
Talking 'bout inspirations... I think I'll try this tomorrow. Only that I'll replace the tuna with leftover roast chicken. I don't like fish very much.

Another way to try a tuna melt, nice! I would add one crispy piece of lettuce when building the sandwich. Hope to see Jack like another person said! ❤️

Nice looking melt! I would season the tomatoes though.

I love a good sandwich. Tuna toasted sandwich is one of my favs. I put a crispy crust like you do on salmon patties. Love it.

Wonderful idea for a simple lunch the day after New Year's Eve excesses! I will definitely prepare it, with thin slightly sweet german cucumbers instead of the tomatoes though :-).Thanks dear Chef Jean Pierre

I got into the English cucumber also can people mentioned Persian cucumbers so I don't know if it's the same as the minis? But I never heard of German cucumbers?😮
