Thank you for a great tutorial. Making this for my new granddaughter. I thought I was doing something wrong when the stitch in the middle of the butterfly didn’t match the photos. It takes the following knit row before it looks right. It was driving me crazy.

Мне жаль, что я не знаю, как это сделать. Я буду видеть, если TH-cam имеет язык вариантов. Спасибо, что смотрели.

So if I want to decrease on my round needles I would just knit 10 right after I finish the last butterfly row correct? Or do I need to slip that first stitch like how you do with the dpn ? Sorry- new to knitting and I’m using circular needles and don’t have (or want to buy) dpns. So I’m stuck a bit on that part!

I apologize deeply that I didn't see this notification. I don't know if you scrapped the project. I Don't like DPNs either. In the video, there was a link to the "modified magic circle" which uses circular needles to decrease. How you want to decrease (slipping the first or not) is personal preference.

Could you or someone help me out? I did a slightly bigger version of this bonnet. I did it 10 stitches bigger, so i got 47 in stead of 37. But now im stuck at the decreasing part. Im doing the decreasing on my circle needles and i dont how many stiches i have to knit before a decrease because i have 47 stitches and not 37. I have started the decrease over again for already three times.. Does somebody know how i can handle this?

Sorry I missed this comment! You could decrease following the same steps. For written instructions, please click the link in description box to Blog Post.
