Thank you so much brought a pattern it was so hard to understand what they were asking so adapted this video so simulate the stitch thank you so much again ❤🎉
Sheila you are a life saver iv had to come back to your video to be able to make some hair for a scarecrow toy I’m making for my grandson , I tried so many times from the pattern ( it used your second method ) and just couldn’t do it but thanks to you iv done it 👏🏻Amanda xx
All i can say is a massive thankyou. Ive looked for years for a way of learning this loopy pattern. Sin e my daughter was little. You have been the first person to explain and show this so clearly. Since watching your video ive managed to do a bonnet and mittens. Im now knitting a cardigan and bootees. So thankyou xx
I remember making a loopy bonnet for my niece when she was a baby ...... gosh that's over 50 years ago ...... she's married got grown family of her own and grandkids 😯😍
I’ve made a loopy jacket for my granddaughter. Same way as you except just go twice into the stitch. Instead of waiting it from needle. Been doing these for my children and grandchildren and great niece. Love this stitch.
Thank you sooo much! I learned to knit as a child on wooden needles! But been 19yrs since i picked up needles & i found 2 loopy cardi/ hat patterns 1 must be from 60's era lol & i was petrified to start it! But thanks to you im ready to smash it! P.s im a geordie too! Yr a star petal! Im owa tha moon xxxx
Hi Sheila I have been waiting so long to see someone do this stitch iv had a pattern for ages and keep reading it but have not tried it yet and I do find it so much easier to watch someone do it thank you so much I now know I can do it after watching you 😊Amanda xx
Hi Sheila, thankyou so much for doing the loopy tutorial. My mum taught me many patterns and for some reason after her passing I couldn't remember how yo do this one. I have just vome across your video, and it's jogged my memory! I am so pleased I can do this one again. For hair on toys and santa beards, aswell as on baby cardigans. Thanks again Sheila! Mandy. Xxx😊
Great video Sheila, i was stuck with an old pattern and the description for making the loop in this way was not helpful. All the others on TH-cam loop from the front. You are a lifesaver 😊😊
Shelia, thank you so much for this easy to follow tutorial. I have wanted to make a jacket using this pattern and always been intimiadated thinking it would be very difficult. Your easy instructions and camera work made this very easy to follow, thank you for creating this. Now to find a pattern!!!
I’m late to this tutorial. This seems a lot better than the way my newer loopy pattern tells you. My pattern has you wrapping the wool round your needle and finger 3 times so makes it very awkward and time consuming to knit and it’s very thick at the end so looks too bulky. I’m going to have a go doing your method cos I love loopy cardigans on baby girls. Thank you for this tutorial. Xxxxxxx
When I watch these advanced stitches, I always wonder who was the first to say, "let's see if this works?" I also can't help but wonder how many times it took the first person to try this to get it right!
Thank you so much for your perfect video. My man used to make all the babies one. Now my daughter wants me to make one for her future grandkids. I am not an experienced knitter so your direction was wonderful. I would love to have your pattern if it is available. Freda
Afternoon Sheila Hope lots of knitters are going to try your loopy knitting. How’s your knitting order coming along . You should get plenty done in this dreadful weather. We certainly have had some RAIN. love Sandra x
Thanks I knitted these type of bonnet’s year ago but had forgotten about this stitch. I like the knitting needles you used what are they called please X
Hi I've been searching for a pattern everywhere for a cardigan and bonnet Is there a possibility that you could share yours with me I'd be so grateful 🙏 ❤
Can you please give me a pattern number that does only a few rows of the loopy pattern for a baby girls cardigan. I have watched your videos, which make the stitch look simpler but would like to do only some at the bottom not full cardigan and that is all I can find thank you 😊
❤ very good video ❤
Thanks so much, I finally found the way I did it over 50 years ago. Everyone is doing it in the front of the work 👏
Thank you so much brought a pattern it was so hard to understand what they were asking so adapted this video so simulate the stitch thank you so much again ❤🎉
Brilliant instructions, very clear and precise. Thank you so much.

Brilliant, thank you. A friend has asked me to make four loopy cardis and I was sure it would be awkward but not your way 😊
Great video Sheila, i was stuck with an old pattern and the description for making the loop in this way was not helpful. All the others on TH-cam loop from the front. You are a lifesaver 😊😊

Thank you I mastered the first technique! I was shown last year but put it down.I've some old patterns of loopy cardigans and hats.

Thank you for showing how to do this

Thankyou so much for the 2nd option which I found so much easier 😊
When I watch these advanced stitches, I always wonder who was the first to say, "let's see if this works?" I also can't help but wonder how many times it took the first person to try this to get it right!
Loved making my daughters these but they hated them😊
