I like the garage builds... it makes me feel inspired to continue working on my own truck... some of these trucks have so much money and time put into them, just makes me feel like I'm s*** out of luck!! Lol sweet truck and incredible build
omg I live in Hesperia and man looking at this truck gave me so me so much inspiration for my 93 ranger...i love this truck!!!! and id love to do something close to this.. This truck is absolutely amazing!!!! Good work!!!!
Bro...how am I just now seeing this truck for the first time?! God dang she’s stupid sexy! Love the color. Love that huge ass motor stuffed in there, but it sounds way way diff than what I thought it was going to sound 👍great noise coming from that. I also really love that it’s an 89. I’m born and raised in Santa Maria, CA until I was 16 and moved to Denver. But I had a sick ass Red 86 Ranger (only thing 86 was the frame & cab), 5.0 swap, C6 Tranny, ext ibeams, 9” trussed rear end w/4:56 gears, Detroit Locked, 35x12.50R15 BFG Muds, King COs w/res up front, King smoothies w/res in rear, believe it or not I kept the stock tank from that came with the Ranger originally which was 15gal, then I added a 26gal fuel cell right underneath the back after the rear end; it was cool because I had a just a lil switch to flip from one tank to the other but all together was 41gal which was well needed, but just a bed shock mount for the smoothies, single full size spare, Art Carr shifter, and then Perry’s Fiberglass the whole truck (I don’t even think he makes glass anymore either). But started building the truck lil after 15 turned 16 and flipped it on its top in the Santa Maria River Bed near Guadalupe, CA. Fuck that day. Easy fix tho to be honest. Then I moved to Littleton, CO where I drive this 2WD, 5.0, geared low, truck to my new high school in the snow just totally sideways. So I had to say goodbye to that. Then bought a 2000 Tundra 4x4. Built that up just enough but damn those trucks are built just right & super strong. I’m on my second 1st Gen 4x4 now that I’m currently building up. If I had a shop I wouldn’t have to pay so much to buy the Solo Motorsports XLT front Kit (about $10-11k when including all shocks) for it & then I wanna 4-link it but idk I’ll figure out a way. There’s shops out where I live in Sparks, NV. Anyways just wanted to comment on how stupid gorgeous this 89 Ranger is, so love that it’s an 89! You’re seriously a great fabricator 👍 If I had your skill and that kind of shop this is about the same kind of details I would’ve put in as well. Glad you went with the 39” Baja TAs too👍 Oh my Instagram is: iamtheyeti88 Just in case you might know anyone where I live who does fab work, I’m obviously willing to pay for just some simple stuff at first. Idk. Also you can see my 88 Ranger I mentioned on my Instagram. Cool you guys take it easy. Drive safe. And keep showing off your truck to people bro. A lot of people have no idea about this sport, it’s life style, and it’s skill set to build what I like to call the F1 cars of the desert. Stay good. Peace out guys ✌️
To those who gave a thumbs down on this video, you MUST be smoking crack! This truck is crazy immaculate. I only wish I could build to this level. But then, I am a home builder of my own rig, A 2JZ powered Yota (solid axle, 2wd) Pickup.
That road in “Mexico” looks a lot like arrowhead lake rd lol , I’m from Hesperia too , that’s one badass ride I’m surprised I haven’t seen it around 👍🏽 keep up the good work , welds are MINT🤙🏽
I have always loved pre runners and watching Baja. I plan on getting in touch with RJ to see if I could work and learn there as a non paid apprentice. Keep the videos coming!!
Can we see a build break down on that nfab Colorado? I’ve heard so many different things about it having crazy travel and crazy detail but other things about it being so small inside you can’t even sit in it. Would probably make a cool video though. 👍🏼
TH-cam algorithms don’t care..a reaction is a reaction regardless of thumbs up or thumbs down...so the asshole is still helping the channel out! 😂😂🙌🏻🤷🏻♂️
Damn, was looking forward to seeing the interior and rest of the build. Lose a file? That has gotta be one of the cleanest, most detailed prerunners I have ever seen. Amazing.
Terra Crew you guys get me going lol I don’t see the pt. 1 till it says pt. 2 coming Thursday! I love the videos man they get better and better every time! Keep it up you guys are killing it👍👍👍
I'm new to all this but I'm very curious... With beam suspension, does the left front wheel sit farther ahead compared to the right front wheel due to the beam offset?
So much respect man. I love the bedsides, i love the whole kit actually. I love the front end, the entire chassis actually. I also love the big block and interior, so actually, i love every single nut and bolt on this truck. In closing, i think rangers should only be allowed to be beam trucks. I think A arms should be illegal on rangers. I know thats a stupid thing to say but come on, look at how they all work its insanity.
Basically, shit can happen to the rubber so when you measure your bump, measure as if it were off. -ex- if you are bumped where your shock is..let’s imagine, 1/8th from bottoming out and lose a 1/4 inch bumper...you’re killing your shock. Knaww-Meeeen?!
Im really curious about these non-powder coat plating things? Never even knew it existed till I saw this channel would love to see an uploaded that explains in depth what that is and more or less when and when not to use it given the circumstances.
I think they talked about it a little a couple vids back. From what I remember its just a thin layer plating on the metal instead of paint to prevent prevents rust. I could be wrong but it would be cool to see a vid talking about it and some other tech stuff.
@@dudeguyman77 Yeah I remember hearing that but they didn't really dive down into it too much.... I more or less am curious to see the process or a comparison to that and powder coat. All I knew up until this point was powder-coat or line-X stuff to keep the metals from being damaged this plating stuff is all new to me
Cameron, It is brushed nickel. The reason we call it that is that it has a brushed finish due to the sand blasting prior to plating. Nickel plating is just a couple steps less than the chroming process and is a plating so it is much more durable than powder coat or paint.
Yes it is. Chevrolet had an LS6 and an LS7 in the early '70s. They came in some Corvettes and chevelles and El caminos. The OG big block Chevy was the first LS engine designation. Look it up. 👍🏼
Ford small blocks are junk. No power at all. Ford makes a good v8 modular but their massive. Really sucks when you build ford rangers. Not a lot of options if you like EFI that are ethically priced. Buy i love that ranger . Its a nice build
view what have various chargers car on you garge i need on my pass a from my use on colombia medellin city from i put go with my motorcicles to pist . have to my disponibility the military army service from close the business. take a new thinks of fabrick exit now cars of this force.

Probably my favorite rig out there. Representing the HD!!!
LOL!!! "Was your plan to make it this nice?" -Morgan Clark , i about fuckin died
Reminds me of the iron man Ivan era, but you went past that and did all the extra comforts that actually finish of the pre runner. Awesome work Rob
bad ass truck super clean and attention to detail

This has to be the best vid yet. Mcd’s shop show get an episode. 🙌
A thing of beauty.

Loving the pro tips, take the slapper pad off the bump stump when setting it up, allows that little extra before completely bottomed.
I have always loved pre runners and watching Baja. I plan on getting in touch with RJ to see if I could work and learn there as a non paid apprentice. Keep the videos coming!!
This ranger is really, really beautiful❤
Yes sir I concur, that drone footage was sick!
Shout out to the hater that comes on the Terra page just to dislike every video 🙃
Lets "Bump" This comment up ya know the deal guys
Bump
That's not a ranger that's a beast!!!
I remember watching this being built on dR years ago.
Amazing craftsmanship
Great video guys keep it up, Morgan is absolutely killing it.
Morgan shreds the breakdown Vids!
So clean. No stickers, decals, nothing. Black makes it look even meaner
Dude loves looking at himself in the camera, in every video..... Too funny

Amazing!!!🤩
Bad AF truck!!!!
One of my favorite builds!! Hands down!! 💪🏼💪🏼
Thanks for sharing the work of these awesome fabricators. One question what type of horn/wailer are you running?
That contraption is as much Ranger as my office chair
where the headlights from?
Ugh, this thing is nasty. He made good work of the black and bronze. This is perfect. Prob a $300k truck now.
Awesome truck!....that being said, what a-hole gave this clip a thumbs down??...what the hell wasn't good enough for you?
TH-cam algorithms don’t care..a reaction is a reaction regardless of thumbs up or thumbs down...so the asshole is still helping the channel out! 😂😂🙌🏻🤷🏻♂️
That thumbnail shot guys, never clicked so fast.
If the Batmobile was cool, it would be this!
Damn, was looking forward to seeing the interior and rest of the build. Lose a file?

Pt. 1 sir!

@@terra-crew Was too busy watching the video. Ain't nobody got time for titles! Looking forward to it. Not even a ford guy and I like that truck.
Thats pretty damn sick!!
I’ve hit that paved jump at the end in every vehicle I’ve ever owned….lol
Top 🔝🔝🔝
I'm new to all this but I'm very curious... With beam suspension, does the left front wheel sit farther ahead compared to the right front wheel due to the beam offset?
No, both beams have opposite bends in them to put the in the same spot
Seen some mini raptors for sale down in ensenada like that one
Ready to go right under 30k
Perks of having buddies all over the place🤭
It’s an 89 cab not a 98 which is in the title and description

@@snr2707 so if the pad fell off or completely wore away you're still protecting the shocks/coilovers from bottoming ? I get it now.
thanedogg bingo-bango!
Kleen!
Badass!!!!
Score 1000 ultimate test!
Finally
Its called "aviation grade hardware" but for it to be certified you need to be FAA & be an aviation tech.
Totally F------ wicked truck.
If Ring Bros did a truck build...

MDR....makes my ass feel old lol
Edit: BUILT TO MAKE MY PANTS TIGHT
thats about $20
My question is always, "why do you people insist on putting a fucking chevy motor in a Ford truck?"
buy house or a prerunner, house it is
33 PEOPLE HAVE NO SOUL
1976 is not an ls!
Yes it is. Chevrolet had an LS6 and an LS7 in the early '70s. They came in some Corvettes and chevelles and El caminos. The OG big block Chevy was the first LS engine designation. Look it up. 👍🏼
Chevrolet debuted the ls motor in 1997
You might be thinking of the LT engine.

I'll trade my wife.
I got $10 take it or leave it .

Why not put a big block in a ranger?? Duh
Now that’s a motor it screams America 🇺🇸 not like the gay eco boost
