Reimu is a freaking superhuman. She's doing all of these projects as well as keeping to her regular streaming schedule as much as she could on top of all the computer issues she was having. Aside from her Japan trips, she's been streaming pretty consistently all year which, my god girl, you work more than I do. Atleast I take a day or two off a week!
I think some people forget that livers are ADULTS and that streaming IS THEIR JOB. They're able to make money because they work hard and it's far from internet drama. People who say "quit the company", "graduate", "you're in a black company", are throwing tantrums at other people's REAL JOB! How dare you think you know what's best for the talents than the talents themselves? They're not kids, you're not in their lives, you don't work with them, you don't know anything outside your own echo chamber of Reddit, 4chan and youtube. The dark really did help light up the light even more. I’m glad that’s the mentality Reimu has of that, If 2024 had its really bad moments but she could still say it was a great year because of the positives that’s absolutely incredible.
Something that inspires me is the fact that they are still here doing their best. As someone who has been watching Niji and Vtubers for like 6+ years, i was surprised when i realized most of EN are now 2-4 year veteran senpais, they've been in the game/company longer than some of my favorite JP oshis who graduated awhile ago and those were always shocking and heartbreaking. There is no doubt things could've gone differently, there is still much to improve on as a company, but I am so proud of them all for fighting through the adversity and drama, sticking together and following their passions. Those who came before them are no strangers to it and you can see how much those OGs have learned and matured, EN's growth will never quite be the same as it once was for a variety of reasons but those who are still here are setting an example and paving a new path for themselves and the future of vtubers.
I love Mumu, I wish I had time to watch her more...but she's so special to me. I hope she stays, I hate that so many people hate Niji when they have really done so much for Vtubers I care about.
Reimu wants to sing and Niji gets her in the concerts, Vox wants to make films and Niji helps him achieving that and Scarle wants to do all sorts of creative things and buttcake and Niji lets her doing that.
The company still did a lot of bad/questionable things in this year but TBH they have improved and I still think there is room to be more transparent and more flexible (maybe more deregulation)

Ethyria really deserves praise this year I'm so happy for everything they did somehow they managed to be happy and do such a good job even if there was so much bad and hard moment this year 😭
If we had a "Wave of the Year" for NijiEN then Ethyria 100% deserves the win imo. This isn't to discredit any of the other Waves whatsoever, but for a year as painful and rough as 2024 has been for NijiEN (in part the company's fault, in part the extreme side of antis' fault), it's exceptionally important for daisenpai Waves to keep a breadth of consistency during inconsistent times Lazulight and Obsydia had massive losses, but the current members' will to push through is commendable, with any breaks they've done certainly understandable. Ethyria, however, has gone above and beyond imo, be it Reimu and Enna's consistency or Millie's silliness all to keep and make smiles happen. Reimu's work ethic, Enna reaching her gaming arc, Millie and her Famillie continuing charity work. How constant all 3 of them have collabed with kohais and peers alike Felt like they had their hands everywhere across the branch this year and that deserves praise. When their older branches needed rest or time to reposition their footing, Ethyria took it upon themselves, intentional or not, to be the bloodstream of NijiEN this year
even though it took a very long time, im glad en are finally able to have these opportunities and dreams of theirs. i really hope they continue to promote ethryia and other en groups to the jp side more !!

Not only has there been/will be FIFTEEN 3D debuts, but several of them have been able to REPEATEDLY use their 3D Home models Selen justifiably had issues with the poor timeliness of branch support for her projects during her time there. 2024? Summer Jams, Summer Sports, several ENcounters, NijiVersus, Ethyria Concert, MK and Tekken tourneys, TERRASANJI, all in a calendar year I think the problem antis have is thinking that by agreeing that EN has improved on liver support, that this must mean they agree that ex-Livers' experiences weren't legitimate. That's a false equivalency. The aforementioned Pomu/Selen concerns were very much real, just as real as the company's attempts to improve upon those prior, real mistakes Again, the company isn't completely off the hook, given more recent ex-liver concerns still reflect issues of not thoroughly accounting for every liver, but their sentiments are just as real as the likes of Reimu's and many others' sentiments Refurbishing the yacht for the sake of the Livers has *always* been the more appropriate, realistic, and mature approach over any cries about burning it all down

Me personally I think I let the negativity of things get to me i stayed away from vtubers in general till attending virtual rhapsody made me realize I still have things i wanna do as a niji fan but i think it was all the positive tweets of niji fans comforting one another that made me enjoy en and even niji content more in general. So i wish everyone have a great year ahead~
I think there's been some improvement like Kuro said about Nijisanji. Though they still have things to work on. We'll see what happens regarding some things in the next coming weeks
All I'd say is that you don't a company behind you to hold 3d lives or or 3d concerts and that i think she underestimates what she could accomplish on her own or with companies that allow more creative freedom.
I wouldn't say that's the only reason. A lot of livers joined niji because they were originally fans of niji so being able to perform with their friends and senpai in the community that they love is their dream. I also think people underestimate how much work it takes to build your own brand and plan an event on your own without support as an indie. You can hire a manager or create your own company but that also cost a fortune and requires you to be fully in charge. Not everyone is equipped for that or wants to deal with the management stuff. If they could enjoy themself in their job then isn't that enough?
what do u mean by creative freedom? except for avoiding copyrighted stuff & face cams, i think they've been allowing livers to do anything they want. scarle said that the staff listened to all of her ideas for her 3d debut and did their best to make it come to life. same with vox's film and wilson's terrasanji

I've been watching more and more of Mumu since her first og ff7 stream. One of my favorite streamers at this point.
