Their ability to communicate has GREATLY improved! There is a gif of these two swaying their heads in sync, that was actually because they can barely communicate so they relied more on body language lol. Fauna can still use passion Japanese someday when she visits Watame

Incidentally I read this morning, that the jp trade board said, that the the identity of a vtuber is like an artist using a stage name and thus the name is owned by the person behind the vtuber, even if the char was created by a company. Probably won't lead to anything, but would be fun if graduates that go Indy could still be the same vtuber.
That may be something that would be brought up legally later - for now Fauna is Holo's and not her VA's. But it is an interesting point. Only problem is that the character doesn't look like her VA - only her voice and mannerisms. Like they 'could' give the character to someone else, legally, but we know that would be disrespectful to the previous VA and they won't do it. BUT the VA also has so much input on her characterization, the way the channel is run, the voice used, etc, so it's not like its a stereotypical character that is voiced/ acted. So much of the vtuber's own personality goes into what we see on screen that they could have more ownership over the character than your typical actor and character combo.

it would be fun but it's very doubtful since we see that with Aqua and Amelia having their illustration as company only.
