My favorite moments with heroes 4 was a tough battle (especially a siege) happening with this playing. Made thinking more enjoyable and the battle feel all the more intense, I will join in with saying this is a masterpiece of music.
This is hands down my favourite video game song of all time. The way every instrument just harmonises so perfectly is just pure bliss. I always get absolutely lost in this beautiful soundscape
Fuckin' masterpiece. To achieve a battle theme that is emotionally engaging. It sounds emo but that is exactly what this music does, and without having to resort to epic bullshit.
The very first Heroes I played was Drahon Bone Staff for the ps2. I liked it a lot and I tried out Heroes III. It was flippin' awesome and I loved the music. And then I played IV... And now I'm here, listening through the battle music again :)
Actually the first Heroes i've ever played is Heroes V (beacause i'm pretty young, i was 10 i think when Hammers of Fate was released), and yeah, he's not the best of the series, but there's still wonderful musics in it, and it made me love the other games. The previous Heroes were masterpieces, and Heroes V was just a good game, that's why he seems to be pretty lame when you compare it to the others like Heroes IV. (And please forgive me for my english, I try to improve it but it's hard)
@@alialramadhan4748 Me too, however the origin Blizzard Team North, are all out of Blizzard, they rebranded themselves into Grinding Gears, (Path of Exile) was supposed to be Diablo 3 and the rest is history. Last time I played WoW was Warlords Of Drainor, WC3 TFT since Reforged is unplayable. There goes my blizzard endeavours down the drain.
@@X3MCTZN I feel ya if you starving for new warcraft 3 game play i highly recommend mod there a lot talented moders who did wonders with the frozen throne tools here is a few recommendation ( the chosen ones, Rowan the wise, Arthas compaign, of crimson tide, legends of arkian, and pit lord) if you don't spending money and hunting copies down i recommend warfront(best ww2 fanfac ever XD) and armies of exigo. if you don't mind trun base than age of wonders series as for blizzard i really hope for the best i really do

Like you could walk with your monsters without a hero, and use your hero in battle, but Heroes V was a letdown to me. It was heroes III and heroes IV combined, but removing a lot of cool features. You can only walk around with your hero, and your hero can't fight in battle and a lot of other things. So yeah. Heroes of Might and Magic FTW!
Well, it's all based around pereferance. (spelling error) Yeah, they revived the series with HoMM IV, and then sunk it into a pot of boiling water with V. 3D was completely useless. Sure the graphics were nice, but everything was just so... slow. I mean I have a kick-ass rig and all that stuff, but in heroes III I prefered to set every speed to Max. and here the cutscene of somebody attacking takes forever. In conclusion - HoMM V: Inferior to other titles of the series, very slow but pretty.
I can, for one, never take Heroes IV battle music seriously. It's because the start of the song sounds like a fucking mamba or salsa or whatever. And in most combats, that's the only part you get to hear! I mean, 0:00 to 0:32..Seriously? Am I fighting to the death or doing dansing a mamba on subpar computer generated beats? :/

Best song (for me) out of the entire series. Beautiful. Intense. Don't understand why the IV was hated so much - I simply loved it.
This is how a progression in music should be done. This piece like many others in Heroes IV is a campaign in itself.

when you start a battle the game plays the music at the minute you left it...also even that part that you call mamba/salsa is pretty fun
