    Thank you, Dear Yasir Qadhi, I love to listen to your very informative lectures or lesson, I get so much from them. But....being a revert an all....I was not looking directly for religion, very long story of my journey.... TO My utter surprise that I am Muslim. It is solely due to the Mercy of My Lord. I do not take credit. I reflect on this so much.... that is why I have great sympathy for people who are not Muslim. They lie to themselves, it is very sad.
    I think one becomes atheist due to many reasons. One being having the secular culture stoved down one's throat, as well as all the corruption and haram... wherever you go..the sins make one away from GOD. As well as the lies that bombard children in movies to fairy tales, to Holidays that are pagan.... purely Due to pure ignorance and blind following.
    I remember listening to scholars say that
    Faith is 90% knowledge . That is why a Muslim must learn constantly to achieve sound understanding. People must understand they must not follow their relatives, parents, society, (if they are not Muslim). But the human is complicated and has ties to this by his emotions. Like Nationalism, and so forth. ANd that is why when Allah The Majestic has gifted us with this religion we need to give so much of our time and do DUa's for the ones that are lost. It Can be a huge challenge or task that we must try to never give up.
    As All the Prophets knew, people are very stubborn. That is why we need to persevere all the time and never give up on having the intention to help them. But of course have balance.. because it can drive you to mental exhaustion . SO we need to give dawah like given medicine one very small teaspoon at a time. Our world is very ill.
    MAy Allah IN his Great Mercy cure us, from our own selves.Ameen! it is work on ourselves and trying to follow his great Laws until we die!.

    Great lecture as usual Sheikh Yasir. May Allah/God preserve you. When we explain the verse " Inna diina indallahil Islam" we should understand the word Islam holistically and NOT confine it to the prophethood of prophet Mohamed(pbuh). Islam which means Submission to God or Allah began with Adam(pbuh) and Eve or Hawa(Gbph). As such, all the prophets/messengers and those who believed their message were on Islam and thus Muslims. And of course, those who rejected their message were NOT Muslims and on Islam. Often, it's Non-Muslims who claim that Islam came several years after Judaism and Christianity. Unfortunately, many Muslims hold this wrong view that Islam began with prophet Mohamed(pbuh). Let's educate our fellow Muslims and Non-Muslims too on this. Jzkmullahu Kheiran.

    SubhanAllah! I loved this Q and A! But it has made me all the prayerful about a certain public figure (an American scholar) who has chosen to be a spokesperson for Islam and our beloved prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa Salam.) He loves and respects the prophet and says only good things about him. Yet he is a devout catholic and is determined about maintaining his faith even when Muslims openly invite or pray for him to revert! It’s like he has rejected the first part of the Kalimah but accepted the second as mentioned by Sheikh Yasir! So I have always wondered if our sheiks like Yasir Qadhi could invite him for a dialogue to invite him to Islam.

    It is like in machine learning. You can't make a model for one specific set of data. That will just overfit. Your model should be general.

    Assalamu Alaikum, I am also blessed with a lot of knowledge and understanding of Islam like Bro. Yasir.
    In my opinion the complicated scenario has a solution. In such a case we can not be optimistic because Allah s. w. t. Has the control of the heart and He turns the heart of a person towards or away from guidance. If this person did research and could not get guidance, then his heart could have a seal over it by Allah s. w. t. That prevents this researcher from accepting Islam. And we know the fate of such people. May Allah. s. w. t. forgive us and open our hearts for guidance.

    Great answer to second question. The problem is that many (not all) in our community refuse marriage counseling and counseling in general. It is “easy” to abandon spouse without his/her rights than it is to work together on the problem because it brings “shame.” Cheating/dating/adultery/beating/narcissist abuse/gaslighting doesn’t bring shame; marriage counseling does. 🙄 I’m sure Karachi person

      el habahi 80 ?

    • @21972012145525
      @21972012145525 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      el habahi 80 I know it’s a generalization in my case men have always been the oppressors. If that hasn’t been your case, that’s fine. It is important to find a correctly trained therapist, both in the rights of a husband and a wife. I’m talking about when people don’t even want to go to counseling to fix a known problem. I think counseling should be at least attempted before a divorce occurs.

    • @21972012145525
      @21972012145525 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      el habahi 80 btw, my definition of Islamic counseling does not mean just going to talk to an imam. Sure, that is a great first step, especially for smaller issues. But when there are real issues (cheating, affairs, violence) then an actual marital counselor (not just an imam) is needed. But both parties must be willing to fix their marriage and sincere in their attempts to resolve. If not, i think both people would conclude (and the counselor would advise) a separation/divorce.

    • @21972012145525
      @21972012145525 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      el habahi 80 no it is not. Perception is reality! How can you tell me what is real or not in my own life?! You don’t know me or my situation or what I have seen and been through. I am not generalizing-I clearly wrote In my experience. Who are you to tell me what has or has not been my experience

    • @21972012145525
      @21972012145525 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      el habahi 80 “it set up on the foundation of feminism “ I’m curious as to if you watched this video. The second question, and specifically, the interrogation of the husband is the proper way to conduct marital counseling in the Islamic sense.

    Verily! Those who believe and those who are Jews and Christians, and sabians, whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day and does righteous good deeds shall have their reward with their Lord, on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve.

Doesn't support the view of good people among the followers of other religions will go to heaven if they live good life?

    Not sure if Islam considers God as a perfect Being, I\m going to assume that's the case: then why did a perfect Being create a creation of which He knew upfront that it would mean a corruption of His perfect state when He was all alone in His perfectness? It just doesn't make sense. Either He isn't perfect, or He doesn't care about individuals.
