The ICNA-MAS annual convention is one of the largest gatherings of American Muslims in the U.S. This is the forth consecutive year it has been held in Baltimore. It was attended by over 22,000 Muslims. It featured many top scholars and activists, in addition to many special events like 1000 Meals Distribution in Downtown Baltimore, 750 Mercy Bags distribution to senior homes and Street dawah at Inner Harbor.

Just because people are suffering that doesn't mean they are not blessed, even during the suffering there is blessings. May Allah have mercy on us. People in the middle East fight too much, I wish they would learn how to resolve through dialogue and through peace. May Allah grant us better mothers to raise better sons and daughters and not greedy souls.

Allah...no such name. Allah is not even spirit. So what is Allah? Allah doesn't enter creation? So how is Allah the greatest? Your quran teaches MOHUMMAD hears your prayers from the grave not Allah. Allah is on holidays.
How will you have your sins forgiven by a god that doesn't care and show you love and grace?
You know what love is, but your quran wants you to hate the infidel, the worst of creatures. What love is demonstrated in the Quran? Your deeds I am sure are greater that MOHUMMADS. your prophet , as your quran teaches was sexualising driven man, who wrote rules in allahs name so he could have sex with any woman he wants, even other wives. He slept with Aisha when she was nine. Would you let a 50 year old man sleep with your 9 year old daughter???. Your prophet was no man of GOD. He spoke no prophecies, he fulfilled no prophecies, he didn't know scripture, he was illiterate. The quran was written in the 8th and 9th centrury . Muhummad lived in the 1st Century. The quran was canonised in the 19th century. It doesn't align with the Torah, with history with chronology nor with any prophecy. Time to throw the Quran in the bin.

Wonderfully explained. Allah tests us because Allah loves us so we become closer to Allah and avoid jahannam.
I have been tested so many times with the same test but different dates and very time I turn to Allah I go right back to sinning it’s like revolving door but I gained wisdom and self love thru all that and I can say I am different person today then I was 2 years ago Alx I’m blessed and thankful to Allah. I’m still learning myself and still going thru some difficulties but I’m blessed compare to some alx I can never complain.
I was so happy then suffered but I turned to Allah and this lecture gives me hope and tawakkul shukran brother

Concerning the suffering part, it is already said by God in a preemptive fashion that this life is going to be a test.
We don't expect any test to be a joyous pursuit. Any test we take is filled with difficulties, challenges and overcoming them is the challenge we must take.
Overcoming each challenge that life throws at us, may appear to be something we grapple and struggle with, but when we look at them in a retrospective manner, we only have gratitude for God, for the vast lessons we end up learning from our challenges and how those nuggets of wisdom make us better as a person.
Moreover, the saying goes, "Easy roads don't make good drivers". Hence, God throws difficulties so we get compelled to shed our weakness and become stronger and better.
And let us learn from him Ameen

Our religion has all the answers and solutions for all our problems. If only we seriously seek knowledge of it and act upon it. This question has already been answered in the Quran and hadeeth and the Scholars. If one looks will find it. Answer is not new, but for some.
I myself never appreciated what I've been given by Allah till I suffered a real suffering. But thank Allah this pain made me to be more close to Allah Alhamdulilla in any situation

Allah willing, this is the most comprehensive and plausible answer. This answer is faith saving.
Assalaamualikum. This world is a testing ground, Plain and simple. Allah has given mankind guidance so we can know how best to conduct ourselves in this life. He has given mankind some level of respite and free will. When we misuse these the consequences can be catastrophic. Human can harm or heal eachother. As for those suffering from the pain of old age or some sicknesses even when they lived a good and moral life this is in part to allow for closeness and even preparation for the meeting with Allah. Remember, this life is a testing ground!

Sorry, I got it now after watching the full video. God has the answer, and we can't answer or understand it, but just trust in god. This makes sense since there is no other good answer anyone can give out there. We don't know what he knows.

This is excellent answer. I am asked by many agnostic and atheist tons of them which normally men who try to get close to me and since i have poor stage of patient it normally led to break up.

Dont understand this. I think you made a mistake in your sentence.
Think it means good and evil has to be balanced out. It's like an equation. Think about it, if there is nothing but evil there wont be any good to expell it. Evil does not get rid of evil. So you need both in order for this aspect of the world to work the way it does.
These are tests your stages gt higher if you have patience .study Islam.

Dear humanity I have prayed to Allah swt for help in pain sickness poverty disease emotional physical harm & I can say with my hand on my heart that I have found resolve Allah swt has answered nearly most dua's! my heart could explode with so much love for Allah swt, I can't believe Allah swt answers my dua's & I fear I have so little unanswered dua's for the day of judgement which could help on my scale💔💔💔
Pains, Sacrifices, tests n trials are all invitations for purifications n to understand importance of QADAR to appreciates SABAR because were chosen to be with him in JANNAH - it's all preparations.
So, faith n trust to ALLAH guided by QURAN and SUNNAH will lead us to the right path. If we abide, paradise can be experience also in Dunya........
